PLR Articles - What Are They

PLR articles really are a marketers tool. There are two versions of this.

The first is often a person writes a lot of articles and bundles them all up in a package for sale to other online marketers or gives them away for free.

The second is, those receiving the plr articles have a lot of free or paid for, content that they can use on their sites.

Plr articles are often downloaded by hundreds of online bloggers who put the articles on their blogs to build content.

The problem with this is there are many sites displaying the same plr article and thus a duplicate content filter will apply to that article resulting in a waste of time posting the article to a blog.

How To Avoid Duplicate Content On PLR Articles

When you download a folder of plr articles, you are really downloading a valuable resource that you can use for your benefit. Most plr articles are keyword rich and provide excellent content.

To avoid any duplication penalty and to get the absolute most benefit from the plr article you will have to rewrite it.

There is a lot of hype on the net that you should rewrite a certain per cent of the article so you do not get a duplicate filter applied to it. That is a MYTH and is incorrect. I will explain.

When you search for duplicate content on the net, online sites place each sentence into the search bar of a search engine, such as Google. The search engine will return the exact search term phrase.

So, if you have not changed ONE sentence, or one phrase, the search engine will return a duplicate content on that sentence, therefore the whole page will be deemed duplicate content.

Having said that, forget about per centage of change to the article, you have to make the article wholly and totally unique through the content of that plr article.

Look upon the plr article as your foundation, your guide to rewrite a far superior article with more descriptive terms and phrases then the original article contained.

Let's now visit some techniques in re-writing plr content.

Rewrite PLR Articles

I once read where one marketer takes a plr article and places it in the Google translator. The article is then translated to German, then German to Greek and finally Greek to English. The result is a totally garbled mess but a formatable article nonetheless.

That sounds a good technique but takes effort.

The second is if you have Word you can have Word summarise the article changing the content up to a certain per cent from being duplicate. I tried that and was not happy with the results, but once again, I was left with a foundation to work with.

Another way to rewrite plr articles is to go through each word, each sentence and each paragraph and totally rewrite it. Still there maybe some duplicate content there, so you will now have to move around the paragraphs to remove any "duplicate pattern" in the article.

My favoured way is to spin the article using spinning software. I discussed this at length in my hub Rewrite Articles Magic Article Rewriter.

The reason why article spinning software is far superior to any other method, is because each word is changed in every sentence and phrase, thus negating any duplicate content filter.

Once the article has been rewritten using the software, you can place one article on your site and distribute the other spun articles to article directories building back links to the original unique non-duplicate plr spun article on your site.

I do agree with you some extent.but the word you've used in your article that "Need to completely changed every sentences" Seems for me very peculiar.

You know every topic you choose people generally start with some common sentences. So, if Google identify as duplicate content then no worth for it.

I would say from my point of view that if you able to change the plr article up to 80% then you've no problem.

Let see what others say about this. until then wait...
