Now days we stand on our feet way to much and there is a number of reasons your feet can swell. Some reasons can be due to, heat, pregnancy, poor circulation, your shoes fitting to tightly, a lot of salt in your diet, and hormonal changes that can occur in some women.

Swelling feet and legs are not fun. Look into what it could possibly be from and then work your way into dealing with it. If you are pregnant this is a quick often complaint in pregnant women. I myself had a tough time with swelling.

Put your feet up. Not only putting your feet up but elevating them are an important play in getting that swelling down. Make sure your feet are elevated just enough so they are higher then your heart. Make sure that it is not to hot where you are. You could even use cold packs to help swelling.

Here are some herbal remedies can possible give relief to swelling:

dandelion can help give relief to water retention by taking it as a capsule or as a tea.

  • horsetail might increase the rate of amount of urination within removing access water from the body thereby treating swollen feet and legs.

  • Experts have suggested that watercress is high in potassium and can draw out excess fluid from the body. watercress can also help in removing access sodium from the body thereby treating swollen legs and feet that come from a high sodium diet.

If you are pregnant make sure to discuss the issue with your doctor and don't take anything at all unless he prescribes it to you. I hope this helps some. So just get off your feet and take a break! And if anyone says anything, just tell them that pajamamoma told you to! =)
