If you have not traced a cell phone call before, I think you’d be surprised at just how much information you can find out about a person with a just a cell phone number in your hand.  With that number, you can consult one of the better reverse cell phone directories to find out everything from a name and address to whether that person has a criminal record or ever filed a bankruptcy. 

Just a few years ago, nobody other than special agencies like the police or private investigators could obtain this information.  Now, anybody who wants to pay a small fee can find out exactly where you live, names of your relatives, previous addresses, name of your wireless carrier, birth records, death certificates, criminal background checks, and much more.  If some paperwork has been filed about you anywhere for any reason, chance are it is available to any inquiring mind for a price.
