How To Use Toast Titanium

In a previous web page I showed you how to copy your dvd collection using mac the ripper. If you did not see this web page and would like to see it click on HOW TO USE MAC THE RIPPER TO BURN DVDs. Remember it is illegal to copy movies that do not belong to you.

Now that you have created a file of the movie you have copied it should look like this:

	Roxio Toast 10 Titanium Price: $59.99 List Price: $99.99
	Roxio Toast 10 Titanium Pro Price: $113.99 List Price: $149.99
	Roxio Toast 8 Titanium (Mac) [OLD VERSION] Price: $62.00 List Price: $99.95

Now open up Toast Titanium.

There are four clickables on the left

Data
Audio
Video
Copy

Click on Video then a set of buttons come up under the Video icon
Click on VIDEO_TS FOLDER:

Drag the file of the movie (I used Terminator) into the open white box of Toast Titanium:

Important!!!

You obviously have to put this onto a blank disc!

DVD+R works the best
Even if the file is over 8.00GB you only need to buy discs that are 4.7GB in size
Because you are using 4.7GB discs you must push the Fit-to-DVD video compression box on the lower left corner of the window

Insert the disc
Push the big red button on the right
A window pops up:

Make sure the status says Black DVD+R

and change the write speed to 4X DVD

Then Push RECORD

If you used a 4.7GB disc then the program will compress itself taking about 10 minutes

After this the movie will begin to write itself this should take no more than 20 minutes (Picture above)

Once the file reaches 100% A window will pop up asking if you would like to Eject it or Verify it.

Ejecting - spits out the dvd and the process is complete
Verify - verifies the data one last time so there is no skips on the disc

If you do not choose quickly then the movie will Verify automatically within 5 seconds

Once the process is done verifying then the movie is ready to watch!!

Remember that it is illegal to copy movies you do not own.
