The simple answer is use an alarm clock. Although there are many methods to help you wake up. Some people like to put the alarm clock right beside their bed and just roll over and push snooze. The problem is either you push snooze to many times or you turn it off and fall back asleep. What i do to wake up is i put my alarm clock on the far other side of the room that way i have to stand up walk over and turn it off while doing that i also turn my light on to also wake me up this helps a lot. If i decide to try and get some sleep it is a lot harder because the light is on and I'm a little more awake cause i got up and walked around. After the alarm goes off again I'm definitely up. Another strategy i like to use is setting two different alarms so that there is a lot of noise going off at different times. Both of these work for me and will hopefully work for you.

Alarm clocks does not work for me
Boy can I relate to this hub. I would have to hide a clock under the bed and different places every night to wake up. I would use three clocks. People could not believe how hard it was for me to wake up. I have done such things like putting it across the room too. They use to tell me go to bed earlier ..not me ..would not work. I hated to go to bed because I felt it was wasting time because I could not wake up. I guess some of us are morning people and some of us are night people. "Hey ...that is another hub!" Interesting hub! Thanks for sharing.
hey spideybolt, I'd have to agree with the others- alarm clocks sometimes simply don't work! Sure they 'work", but often people (myself included) are used to hitting snooze in their sleep or even turning it off. Then, it's up to whenever your body decides to wake up naturally and this means you're probably late to work/school/etc!
Anyway, it's a great hub, and alarm clocks ARE the primary means of waking up early. I would just suggest maybe using other means to help the effort of waking up. In fact, I did suggest these in my related hub:

Alarm clocks don't work for everyone. I have a friend who sleeps through his alarm clock every day, or at least did when he was younger. He would just continue hitting the snooze button. Then he set it across the room which worked for a while, until he started sleep walking in order to turn it off, then proceeded to get back in bed, never realizing that he'd turned it off.
