Sales letters are everything when it comes to selling a product. From the title to the paragraph(s), everything has to be done correctly in order to generate some good results. While there are many other ways of advertising a product and/or service, sales letters are--um, cheaper. Sales letters can be written and submitted to websites free, or you can pay for a premium service, which most premium service sites deliver far better results than free methods.

Unlike other ways of advertising, most sites that allow you to write articles and posts allow you to come back and edit your content. Make a mistake on any other website and you will be paying for that mistake, literally. You have to write professional. Speak in a way that people speak in today's society. Don't get to scientific, as many people will have no idea what you are talking about, etc.

Professional Writing

Professional writing is what will give you the customer's trust. No one wants to purchase something that someone who can't spell wrote. (example: Buy Maverck Mony Makerz now). It either lets them know that you did not review the product, obviously because you can't get the title of the product correct, or that you are too stupid to give a real review of a product.

Best ways to enhance articles using phrases and grammar.

  • Participial Phrase- Participial phrases act as adjectives. If it begins a sentence, it will be set off by a comma. Basically its a modifier.

"Example of Participial Phrase: The tired man,^having been drained of his^ energy running track, needed to rest."

  • Appositive Phrase- Its an amplifier or re-naming of a word that immediately proceeds it.

"Example of Appositive Phrase: Chuck Liddell, ^a UFC Hall of Famer^, is a great fighter.

Length of Letter

I learned throughout my time in the internet marketing business that the shorter the letter, the better. While making letters short, you must fit in all of the key information into that letter. Don't have it sounding like you're trying to sell the product. Thats what resource boxes are for.

Point out the information that the customer wants to know about. Don't tell them that its green and sounds good, get into detail with the limited sentences that you have to write with. This will make the customer believe that you know what you are talking about, and may put their trust into your future reviews, ultimately bringing more money into your pockets.

Point out key information

If you have information that you want to share with the people, you must make sure that they see the information. Some people may skip through the entire article and read only the information that attracts the most attention. Use bullets and underlines to make your important information "pop out" to the reader.

Choose your words wisely. Wording can affect your sales, so be careful what you say.

I can't tell you exactly how to write a good sales letter because you would then be another drone out there trying to use the same technique that thousands of people on the internet are already using. I can only throw in suggestions to help you make the best decision in writing.

It all depends on what you are trying to sell. You must adopt to the product and the category that it is hosted within. Only then will you see success in your sales letters.
