Insight

The purpose of is blog is to help women understand men, men understand women, how to keep your kids safe and any other interesting topics. You maybe asking yourself what make me the expert, I am divorced two children from two different men, I have been though hell and back, but over the years of experience and talking to men on a daily basis I think I have a very good understanding of men. As far as a women's perspective I think its obvious. Feel free to ask questions of how, when, where, what oh yeah and the big one why and I will be more than happy to answer.

Love and Relationship

Love is a strong word. I often ask myself does love really exist or is it just a dream. If love is so wonderful why is there pain, why do we often find ourselves feeling as if we are not understood. I used to believe that the only love that really existed was the love that I felt for my immediate family since I always seemed to get hurt in relationships that I was in, but then I stopped  and I thought if we would not feel pain when something hurts us then we would not love.

Love is not an easy, and not everyone that you are infatuated with can we go around believing that it's love. Love take time to develop and yes there has been incident that some one that you meet for the first time you feel that its true love. But true love takes time, time to get to know that person for who he or she is and vice versa. And  if with time you still feel that that person is the right person then it just might be the one for you.

If you are a parent of children who are computer savy and are wondering what your kids are doing online, I advise you to check out what your kids are actually doing online. Here is a story that I would like to share with everyone.

I am type of mother that is on top of my children and what they do online and with who they are online with. Well I let my child join this website for kids where they play games, post blogs, and socialize with kids their own age, so I thought. Well I slipped for about a month and did not checking out my kids blogs on this website (which I will not say the name)and I found some man trying to pass himself off for a kid that was 15yr old. The things that this man was telling my kid was well lets just say degrading. Now you may say that it is my fault for letting a 13yr old be online but I did my home work I even joined the site to see what these children were talking about and I saw nothing wrong. But in private chat was a whole different story.

How I found out

I figured something was wrong when she would go straight to the computer when we got home, she would close the door and be online for hours and when I would tell her that she needed to get off she would get upset. Until one day I had enough and I took her laptop way from her and she tried to take the laptop away from me. As I search thru her blog and came across her private chats I saw what every parent fears yes degrading chats. As a parent we try our best to protect our children but sometimes when we think something that is innocent in reality hides a deeper darker secret. Well to make a long story short I began to chat with the guy and he thought I was my daughter that is when I realized I was not speaking to a kid but in reality it was a man. I told him never to speak to my child again he tried to convince me that he was a kid but I know that he was not. So my next steps was to contact the police. Now I am just waiting to see what comes out of it.

What you should take form this experience is that regardless how much you trust your kids always have one eye open and dont turn your back to your kids and their internet use.
