How You can also Make Your first $1000 without Adsense

Are you one among the millions who rely on the 0.01 dollar a day Google Adsense earnings?

Do you hope to make your first $100 to receive a paycheck from Google one day?

Well, while you wait endlessly for the Adsense money, let me show you a genuine way to earn money. How do I say genuine? Because, I just made $1000 from my online works, it took me last four months ( If you look at the people who are actually making real good money, they would agree with me about this - 'If you rely ONLY on Adsense or any other Contextual Ad service, you can't achieve your financial freedom that you want to achieve!'.

It is easy to implement the Adsense code, that's why every blogger wants a piece of it. Sadly, 95% of them don't make the $100 payout cut-off and even after an year 50% of them don't receive the paycheck from Google.

What's wrong with Google Adsense?

OK, let's look why Google Adsense is not paying the money.

Fact 1: Google used to pay a lot. Few years ago, using Google Adsense, bloggers earned a big cash and bulky paychecks- but NOT any more. The earnings have really come down. Advertisers are not willing to pay for clicks.

Fact 2: Only Google knows how much you will get. One day you may get $5 for 10 clicks but in the next day, you may not even make $1 for 20 clicks.

Fact 3: Even if you write about a high paid keyword or keywords targeted blog post, you won't probably get even $10 for a click. Have you got that much for a click?

Fact 4: Advertisers are NOT willing to pay for clicks (pay-per-click model) because of the increasing 'click frauds'. Instead, they want visitors to complete an action to pay (pay-per-action) such as buying a product (there won't be any frauds).

In conclusion, we can say that the earnings are very poor compared to the amount of time and effort you spend on writing for your blog and maintaining it. Even if you write quality articles, you need to get plenty of visitors and they should click on the ads. Forget Adsense and it's poor earnings. Welcome to a golden world where you will know exactly how much you will earn per click. You could earn as much as $40 for every click. True, that's what affiliate marketing is.

What every blogger/writer does?

Every blogger wants to earn money. They setup a free blog with Wordpress or Blogger, write and post few articles. They join the Google's Adsense and copy the code and paste it into the blog's sidebars. That's it. They wait for the cash to flow in. Without any visitors, without any clicks, do you expect money? You must be kidding! That's what every Tom and Sally does. They endlessly wait the cents to trickle in and hope one day they would get the $100 paycheck from Google. How long they would need to wait? God knows.

If you want to know more about money making tips and tricks with a blog, I would highly recommend you to 'Blogging to the Bank' e-course. If you are planning to quit your day job and work from our home at your leisure, Blogging will lead to a more happier and successful life. I undertook the course and the learnt the secrets of making money with blogs and now I maintain a network of blogs with which I make $700 a month. How good is that?

Get Rich Blokes: You will get all you want

Affiliate marketing is very simple, you need to enrol in a site such as Clickbank browse the marketplace and choose a product and write a genuine review about the product. Do NOT only rely on Google Adsense earnings alone. Jump into Affiliate Marketing and write reviews and promote products. If I can do it, you (the better writers) can do it too.

Now, we have put together a pack of 11-DVD course that will teach you all the tips and tricks to make money on the Internet. It is true that adsense may not be the most efficient way of making money through blogs, but if you bring the right traffic to your site, the clicks will come. A little interest can go a long way if you have the right audience. Good suggestions though, thanks. www.lifeasamedicalstudent.blogspot.com - www.thinwallet.blogspot.com

I'm afraid I have had a very different experience from you. It took about ten months to make our first hundred dollars, about two months more before we had a monthly income and since then it has been growing steadily. In contrast, we don't make nearly as much as from our affiliates.

There is a lot of competition for afiliate sales, I like adsense because with the unique content factor, everyone gets a shot. They are both equally hard to learn to do properly, I believe adsense requires a lower investment as is a lot more passive depending on your software.

I agree, affiliate marketing is the way to go, I'm mixing it up with both, I find that clickbank products is too competitive, everyone is on them, what I have found is that keyowrd research is really important before you start promoting, finding a product then checking out the demand and competition can really get you onto a winner.

I have found a few programs that give me sales even with only 15 visitors, it all depends on the right keyowrds people are searching for, it is best if its targetted and focused. You need to find the people who are looking to buy, who have already been sold to the program previosly or by word of mouth.

No matter what, you need effective Adsense Strategies... just sticking up a blog or site, adding some Adsense ads, and waiting, without promoting your site, will get you nowhere fast.

Shalini, I do agree that the pay for click in adsense has come down.

But it doesnt mean that there is no hope with adsense. Its still the safest and effective way to make money from internet.Last year I made a website about numerology and implemented adsense in it.Have not done anything with trhe site over one year .Still it gives me around 1.5 dollars per day.Rhe pay per click is too low.But Iam getting paid for the clicks.

Wheras in affiliate peogram , the visitor needs to buy an item for you to get paid.

If you are worried by lo0w traffic there is hope. There are lot of rtevenue sharing websites in internet which pays you for content via adsense.

Adsense is not dead. The low cost per click does have an effect . But if you increase CTR and traffic the revenue will hike.

Shalini , thanks for the ebook. Really useful.Keep posting more good hubs.Your gubs are really informative.

I too have gotten started in affiliate marketing. There are a lot of tips and tricks sites, membership sites, ebooks, etc. Really there are millions. The tough thing is that much of the info is out there online for free, but you have to be able to find it and weed out the good from the bad. If you can find a program like this and not spend too much and learn a few tricks it is worth it. I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate, stupid name I know, for 2 months. I plan to stick with it for about 6 months. I should have learned enough by then to feel confident on my own. Others tell me that was their strategy but then it became so useful they never dropped their membership. I pay $30 a month for quite a nice set of resources so after $180 I can just quit if I have had enough. To me that is not that big of an investment. I already know a lot more than when I started. I guess what I am saying is don't just discount a product on making money online because there are many scams, some actually are useful

I have adsense ads on my blog and received clicks on my ads, but Adsense did not pay me anything for them. For me adsense ads are a waste of time. Try affiliate marketing. Anyway for a few cents per click how are you going to reach payout (minimum of $100) - in a few years time!!

I am convinced that the big key is traffic!

More than whether you choose to focus on AdSense or affiliate marketing - it all comes down to the amount of traffic your site is receiving.

I am more interested in knowing how to receive more legitimate traffic to all of my hubs. I have one, very popular hub - that alone made over the $100 prize just last month. Nothing but AdSense. I do "did" have some ebay and Amazon capsules in the hub - took them out.

Affiliate marketing is a way of making good and serious money on the net but you do have to put time and effort into it. Don't think things will workout with just a click and those companies advertising products that claim to do everything for you are just having better of you.

Sincere work takes time and effort. There is no magical way of making money. If you are ready to devote time and work hard and sensibly, affiliate marketing can be a good source of income.

This article is an advertisement--I am glad this is working for you, but for me, this whole strategy makes writing for the web kind of a drag. I write a financial blog for someone else and get a weekly paycheck for that, plus a share of the ad revenue. My employer does all the promoting, so we both profit. I also write freelance articles for $$, and I write at sites like this one that use Adsense just for my own enjoyment. I sell articles on Helium and a few other sites and I win online writing contests on a regular basis. I have about six repeat clients who pay well and on time. I write website content and articles for them---I've also written one-time only ebooks, and am working on a self-published collaborative book at Lulu with some other writers--in other words, I earn money writing about subjects that interest me, not selling affiliate marketing CDs.

I'm not being a curmudgeon, really I'm not. If someone wants to earn money online the way you suggest here it's no problem for me--all the best to you. To me, if feels like writing spam. I just want people to know that you CAN earn money online by WRITING if that's what you love. You don't have to sell someone else's affiliate marketing CDs and ebooks, you can actually just write about what you care about and make money. I mean, I do it, and I'm no genius, but I do work really hard to earn the money I make. I don't mind working hard because I love to write. Which is why I don't do it this way.

Thank you for this though. It gave me an idea to write a hub about how to make money by actually writing.

There is a way to make Adsense work, you know. 95% of bloggers don't earn much because they don't know that way... and yea, it needs loads of hard work to get to the point where I can quit my day job with Adsense supporting my back. But I still won't relax cause Adsense is not considered a stable source of income, at least not by me. So kudos to you, Shailini for the article.

Josh Tam profile image

naresh, Adsense may or may not be a more reliable, IMO. It does pay, but it doesn't tell you how much you get. So sometimes they pay you as low as 0 cents per click. If you do affiliate marketing, you may need to work hard but how much you earn will all depend on the products you choose to sell and their prices, not something predetermined by a higher power.

Good article Shalini.I have the bitter experience in this. Eventhough I am here for 13 months, my earning with adsense is only $20.20.For this reason, I am not publishing hubs frequently.Commisssion junction(which manages e-bay ads) has informed me that they are going to close my a/c as nobody has purchased from my sites.

This whole thing appears funny to me. A website should attract visitors by its advertisements-i.e. advertising about itself. Hubpages is not advertising about itself. We have to write good articles, sometimes on popular topics(eventhough it is against our will), we have to link with other social bookmarking websites, we only should generate traffic, and get only a small part of income as commission!
