A majority of parents would think that iPods and MP3 players would never benefit their children other than teaching them the lyrics to their favourite songs. Yet, like always parents need to learn more about technology. Most MP3 have a recording feature in which they could record the lessons for their courses in high school. It's always a good thing to ask your teacher if you can record them as some schools and teachers do not like them being recorded and recording the lessons are banned. Other than that students can listen to podcasts which contain full lessons of their high school and possibly university courses. These lessons would be avaibale from peer-to-peer sharing applications such as Limewire or Ares or could be downloaded from certain websites that carry them.
