How and Why Satan Torments People

Knowing that many people believe that Satan isn't a real being causes me to look at what the Word of God says about him. He is evil and wicked and nothing good can come from him. He is a liar and a thief and goes about seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. Why would Satan do these things? What are his motives? I will do my best to answer these questions in this article.
Satan was originally created by God and had a seat in Heaven. He was the most beautiful of all of God's angels. I can imagine how he looked at himself. Pride rose up in Satan and he said in his heart that he would put his throne above the throne of God. This shows that he had contempt for God. He hated God with a passion.
Satan's pride was what caused him to be cast down to the earth. There is no place in heaven for sin to dwell.
When God created man, He created him in His own image and likeness. We are all like God in image and likeness. Satan knows he can't hurt God. God already had him cast out of heaven and Satan wants nothing more to do with God directly. So what does he do to get back at God?
He torments those who God loves and are similar God in image and likeness. He will do everything in his power to cause us to sin and will cause us to be separated from God by the same sins. He can't force us to sin but can only put the thought, concept, or temptation before us.
He will continue to do this until he is cast into the lake of fire. I hope this explains it well enough to make it easy to understand.

Yeah, I guess God is much greater than Satan. Afterall, God created Satan. We will not enjoy salvation if we haven't experienced evil. Adam and Eve needed to experience evil and so do we.

I did read it Dan. The deception comes from that site. it is like a man trying to figure out the Bible in the flesh. There is nothing spiritual about him.
When one is indoctrinated into the deception of the worldly churches, it is unlikely that he/she will consider alternatives which lead to truth. You are blind and my-God, the people you felowship with are even more so. Funny that you don't see this.
It is easy to call someone blind and indoctrinated. The flesh is emnity against God. Do you have any idea what that means? The mind of man is corrupt and full of evil. Do you agree?
What is flesh is flesh and what is spirit is spirit.
The flesh is what would cause one to believe that God can't do all that He wills. The flesh believes fictitious stories of a perfectly created angel deciding to become the devil (similar to the Darth Vader transformation or some such nonsense). The flesh doesn't see that heaven is a high realm of thought of which man cannot rise to in this flesh. This flesh believes that heaven is geographically higher than Earth and if a spirit being is thrown out then gravity will pull it towards the Earth (just try and say that's not what you people imply). The flesh doesn't see the things of the spirit and hates it. Spiritual things are invisible and can only be seen with spiritual eyes. Spiritual things are never physical and cannot be compared to the physical things of this world. The Lake of Fire is spiritual. Brimstone is spiritual. Great White Thrown Judgment is spiritual. Wide is the gate is spiritual. The Whore of Babylon is spiritual as you can't see that it is the teachings of your religious institutions. It's the whole theological system, bar the very few who are given this spirit. Neither you, nor anyone that falls for silly stories and made up doctrines has been given spiritual eyes, yet.
In heaven, those who make it there will have new bodies. Agree?
No. We're gonna have the same corrupt, old haggard bodies that we die with. That's right. And babies? They'll be floating around with diapers on fluffy white clouds for all eternity. Your loaded question doesn't deserve a serious response. Stick to the content and I will answer.
Dan, if you cannot play nice, why play at all? I am trying to find a common starting point, but you keep posting your drivel and making long posts that you think will confuse me and cause me to digress.
Not at all. You may digest or digress. Makes no difference to me. First of all, heaven is a realm and not a geographical location as most christians believe. Those who make it? You mean at the first resurrection? or ever? Cause all are saved eventually. Our new body will be a spiritual body. Don't ask what that is because nobody knows. It will probably be nothing like we would expect, and most would not want to have it if they were told now what it will be. Once we're saved we will think differently.
By the way, where did you get the idea that Satan torments. I'm sure that it is God who torments us for a grand purpose. Satan dines on us. Big difference. Torment is what will ultimately lead us to victory over evil.
If it makes no difference to you, why do you keep osoting here? According to everything you have written in comments not only here but other hubs as well, it really makes no difference what we do or say because we will all be saved in the end after all.
God is not the tormentor. Gid chastises those He loves, but those He does not love, He lets believe a lie and be damned.
Are you serious? Those God does not love? Obviously your lack of vision has skewed your understanding that God loves all. And why would your god decide not to love someone. Remember, you claim that he allows people to believe a lie. Why wouldn't he allow everone to believe a lie? Oh, that's right. You say god only loves some. Do you see that if god didn't allow or cause people to believe a lie, they would never be in a condition to go against his commands? And then you parrot the stupidest slander tossed my way. You say that by God saving all, it doesn't matter what we do or say. You actually claim that I believe this. In other words, just sin away. Well, go ahead. Teach your false doctrines. You're in a crowed market of deceit. Go ahead and enter into severe judgment for teaching a god of evil and failure. How severe is judgment anyway? Would you be willing to scoff at the God who loves and will save all, just because the end result is salvation? Do you think that salvation of all means that Hitler and Stalin are not in for a load of torment before learning the truth and being saved? How about Saddam and his sons? You make my case for me. Orthodox christians can't see any truth. Hell, you can't even see what I've been writing all of this time.

If all you can do is pick on typoes Dan, stop coming here and posting anything. All you talk about is hell and how everyone is wrong about it. You haven't said anything about Jesus and salvation. The Gospel of Christ is foreign to you it seems.

Actually, the main thing I write about is salvation. But you don't even believe that part of the Gospel (the good news).
You know, you asked why I come here. Well, the universalists I am familiar with write because they are obeying a command of Christ to expose contradiction. Also God uses the foolishness of preaching to get His Word out (it's foolish because God must give people spiritual eyes before they can see spiritual truths). But can I honestly say that's why I'm here? Really, there are two reasons that I am here:
Number 1
I sincerelly hope somebody or somebodies will read this and learn that God isn't going to torture anybody for all eternity as they have been taght. The release they experience from learning the truth of universal salvation is so profound that nothing else I do in this life can measure up to such a wonderful task of shining light on darkness. That is my hope.
Number 2
The orthox lie of god burning people for eternity or the newer invention of eternal seperation, pisses me off so much that my carnal flesh has inspired me to cram this sewer scam right back into the faces of all heretics that teach it. I am at a point where I can't imagine walking among fellow humans who are so self righteous that they believe they belong to an exclusive club of the "saved" and believing that most of those around them will be tortured endlessly while they ("the saved") experience eternal bliss. I realize that this feeling is a spiritual weakness of mine but damnit, the hell doctrine sucks bull turds. There is so much good to learn and talk about concerning God, and yet, I feel like I must qualify every scripture by pointing out the false doctrines and how they take away from the true word. And then these heretics have the audacity to talk about God's love and their love of people. Give me a break, Dent. And this goes for the others on the hubs with their false love.
But I know that God forgives you because ya'll know not what you do!!
Now Dan I can see where you are coming from. Universalists are not real Christians because of their beliefs. God is against many things, but universalists do not believe that. They believe they can live like the devil but get the reward of Christ.
They stay in their sins with no change about them, yet claim that Jesus gave them eternal life. Where did the guy who got the words from aliens find them? I can't remeber his name either. Maybe you can hrlp me to remember.
