You can use a program such as Nero, or you could simply import to Itunes.

Nero will even allow you to make a backup copy. Itunes should allow you to download to a Ipod, and back to Nero, once all is saved to the hard drive, you can download to any MP3 Player.

When in Nero, if you go to the music tab, there are several options to choose from.

You could also use Windows Media Player and choose the music CD that you wish to copy to your hard drive. Choose "Take No Action" from the screen that may pop up on your computer when you insert the CD into the CD drive.

Open Windows Media Player from the program list ands select "Rip." A list of music tracks on the CD opens.

Go to Tools on the toolbar and select options. Pick the "select music" tab and then choose where you want to save at on your hard.

Pick a high bit rate to get better quality music. The higher bit rate does take up more space however. Click "OK" when you finish this task.
