Many people ask how do I start bodybuilding and how soon after I start bodybuilding will I be able to get results. Every year more and more Americans decide they want to get in shape and start bodybuilding. A good age to start bodybuilding workout program is around the age of 16.

Bodybuilding can be intimidating to a beginner. Bodybuilding is a great way to get into shape. Bodybuilding will take time and hard work, but as long as you are training right, eating right, and resting you will become an experienced bodybuilder with the muscles to show for it.

Bodybuilding is defined as the process of developing all muscle groups through the combined process of weight training, increased calorie intake via food and nutritional supplements, plus periods of rest. Bodybuilding by weightlifting if done wrongly is a sure recipe for injuries.

Start with light exercises and when you get used to it slowly increase the intensity. Start to read up and educate yourself. You might start by consulting your doctor on the workout that you are going to do and the food items that might help you in that.

When I made the decision to start bodybuilding it was the best decision of my life. As a final word I want to advise you that if you start bodybuilding a lot of your free time will be compromised so if you aren't prepared to sacrifice that you shouldn't start bodybuilding.
