Step one: sign-up Amazon or Ebay affiliate ID

How to get an Amazon affiliate ID or EBay affiliate ID, please reference to the Frequent ask questions(FAQ),

You have to sign-up for the Amazon Associate program by visiting Amazon.com, You'll be asked to fill out information about yourself, such as name, address, payment information. You'll also be asked what your site - in this case, HubPages - is about. The entire process is very quick.

Like the Amazon program, you'll need to visit eBay to sign up for their affiliate program. Once again, you'll be asked quite a few questions, but they're easy to answer.

If you have already an Amazon Affiliate ID or EBay Affiliate ID, then go to step two.

Step two: Add your Affiliate ID to Your Hubpages Profile

Once you've been assigned an ID, simply add it to your HubPages profile so you can begin earning commissions immediately.

Go to your profile (by clicking "My Profile" tab at up right corner of your explorer window), then select "Edit Profile"(see picture above), then click "Affiliate settings" to open a new page, then you can fill in you affiliate ID in a form.

Note that there's a little bit complicate to get ebay ID. After signing up ebay, Commission Junction (www.cj.com) will send you a user name and password. You'll then need to follow the next few steps:Login to their site. Click on the Account tabs, then Web Site settings tabs. Copy the 7-digit number called the PID number. Return to your my Profile page at HubPages and paste the eBay slot under Affiliate Settings. Now you're set to begin the eBay affiliate program.

Step Three: Add Revenue Capsule to Your Hub

Now you can add Amazon or EBay widget to your hub. Actually you don't need to copy and paste widget HTML code from their website by yourself, all you need to do is just to drag and drop eBay or amazon icon to you capsule ordering module, or just click on the icon.(see illustration above), then click "Reorder Now", You can edit you amazon capsule just like editing other capsules to optimise it.

Now all stuff will automatically be added to you hub, then your revenue will roll in to you account like tsunami!

Just a question about Amazon Affiliate ID: If I already have one linked to my website, do I need to apply again for HubPages or can I use the same ID. Not clear on that.

I like the hub but I'm not sure how it works with Google.. Isn't it true that Google won't track your page if it has Affiliates links to it?

Do you mean that google won't track this hubpage because of EBay and Amazon ad on it?

It seems true in New Google TOS, I read some discusions in a forum, but not sure?

That's what I understood from a previous hub... That seems counter-productive to me.. Perhaps someone could shed some more light on this...

I received a letter from Hubpages several weeks ago, there is new sign-up method of eBay affiliate programme, I have never made money on adding eBay widget, so I just ignored it. I won't add eBay or amazon on my hubpages any more.

This was helpful, I will try it on my next hub. Can you do this on existing hubs you have already created? Thanks so much!!!

Yes, you can always edit your old hubs, and include an eBay or Amazon capsule, but some information has expired, eBay affiliate account has changed, you may register your eBay affiliate network account on eBay affiliate website, not through CJ.

Hi, you're always welcome.

I suppose you have sign up Amazon, if you have not, pls find help from this:

http://hubpages.com/help/AmazonAssociates

Then you have to include Amazon capsule to your individual hub, same as you add images and texts. You may find help from this forum thread, and may post your questions there, too.

http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/5795

I'll add more in it, include step by step to add Amazon.
