ovulation

It is simple really.

Your body temperature rises.

All you need to do is count from the END of your last period to about 10 days; THEN start taking your temperature (vaginal) every morning - at the SAME TIME.

As a norm - you will ovulate on day 14; of course our bodies not being the same or an exact science it will probably occur a day or two on either side of the 14th day.

The thermometer you need to use is NOT the same as the kind you put in your mouth. Go to the pharmacy and buy a "Basal" thermometer.

Your body temperature rises when you ovulate because your body produces the hormone progesterone which raises your body temperature. The Basal thermometer came detect within 1/100th of a degree too.

So when your body temperature rises, you are ovulating.

So, get to taking your temp and keep a chart and write it all down. You will have it figured out very soon.
