Wedding invatations

Hi I saw your request and I thought I may be able to help. I have designed my own wedding invitations for my wedding that is coming up this year. The first thing you want to make sure is what type of design will go good on the cards. I did a green and white back ground and gold trim around the edges with my picture and my fiance's picture on the card. I than wrote on the inside of the card as follows:

To the Sedgwicks

On behalf of Jeremy and Tasha we are delighted and proud to join us in our marriage to each-other. We would be very proud if you can make it to the wedding date as stated below:

On July 1 2009 at the Bowness Park Cathedral at 4:00pm

Reception to follow at 6pm.

We will see you than please RSVP no later than June 15 2009.

Thank you

Jeremy and Tasha.

This is just an example of what you may want to say. Make sure you pass it to your friend first to get approval.

Thanks! Your suggestions will really help. I love the kind of design you had for your invitation, especially the white and green background with gold trims on the edges. :-)

Have you thought about getting creative and stamping it. There are a ton of ideas at the craft stores. You also might want to hole punch the top of the invitation and put a ribbon and possibly a charm to dangle on the top.

Don't forget to include a response card and a self addresses envelope for it.
