How do you caramelize an onion?

Very simple! Requires a frying pan. Add grease to the frying pan, just enough to cover the bottom, heat well, add chopped onions, stir around until the onions get very red/brown and are well cooked. These are carmelized onions, and the word "CARMELIZED" means both the colour and the cooking method.
