Some companies choose to go down the route of offers like buy one get one free when it comes to promotions, however this isn't necessarily the best way to go about things. There are great ranges of promotional products available on the internet, with companies offering everything from promotional magnets to keyrings to promotional coffee mugs to t-shirts. You can have your company name and logo printed on just about anything, and using this kind of material in a freebie giveaway is a great way to advertise your business.
The key to a successfull promotional advertising campaign is getting your target audience right. You can have the best campaign in the world, with the most amazing freebies going, but if you are giving them to the wrong people it's not going to have the impact it potentially could. Think about what you are advertising, and who it is most likely to appeal to. Also think about how your campaign is to be carried out, and of course where. Handing out tote bags on a Saturday afternoon on a busy shopping high street is going to be a winner as they will more than likely be used there and then and then re-used regularly. Which brings in the importance of making sure you are giving away a high quality promotional product. It's no good having a beautiful looking bag that falls apart on it's second outing, of course you don't want to spend too much on your promotional merchandise as it is going to be given away, but be sure to spend enough to make it sturdy enough to last a good while.
Remember, whatever you choose to use for your promotional advertising campaign, make it stand out, feel good, look good and last a relatively long time for a freebie as the longer it is around the longer your company name is going to be seen.
