The Art of Flirting....
I feel that #1 on the list is not to appear nervous. Women generally like (APPRECIATE) a man who is self-assured. Comfortable in his own skin - and it shows in the first 3 mintues. If you are not a self-assured person - take some classes or something.
Secondly - I feel there needs to be romance in the air - or the mystery of it. Tiny flowers, little gifts that are meaningful (not expensive) - they just show that you are being thought of.
Third - phoning or texting; not too often and not too little -- you don't want to appear desperate!
Four - honesty; with EMOTION - you know that word so many men seem unfamiliar with?
The photos I posted are a a joke! I mean really - it is not important nearly so much as the rest - which is a beginning...
good luck; for me, without those 4 tips - you're sunk.

privateeye, i saw your title and had to stop by. then i felt compelled to comment. first of all, i appreciate your sense of humor. secondly, i checked off your list against my husband.
he was a great flirt. i never had the skill, but he had me blushing right off the bat. it was in his eyes, then his smile, then his words. he could turn me to jello in under a minute. and he was always very sure of himself in any circumstance. he's a Marine and nothing rattled him, except me when i learned to flirt.
gifts - he was good at it. small shells from the beach, sand dollars, wildflowers which are my favorite kind, random foot rubs, or coming in to wash my hair for me. he was so thoughtful of my feelings.
communication - when we were dating, he kept in touch. he knew when i was home, would leave emails, and he called when he said he would. i was never left wondering if, when, or how he felt.
honesty - he always was. careful about it if he thought my feelings might be hurt, especially with all the silly self-esteem questions women can ask that trip men up. "do i look fat?" he was so good with my self-esteem.
i'm heartbroken to say he died a little over 5 months ago. he is my world. but i just had to stop by and let you know of one man who got all of it right. he was perfectly flawed but with flaws i most definitely could live with.

Everything above is true. Chicks speak a different language...one of feelings. To gain "rapport" with a chick...speak her language...even if you're faking it. The easiest way to do this is instead of saying "I am blank " you should say "I FEEL blank". Instead of saying "This is blank" say "This makes me feel blank".
Suddenly chicks will start to tell you how easy to talk to, how understanding, how sensitive, you are.
Any thoughts from chicks about this "theory"?
