How has HubPages changed your life?

Writing was just a dream for me. I thought yeah, maybe someday. I dream it but I had no plans in executing the dream. It was my sister who signed me up in AdSense and Hubpages. She typed in one of the articles that I keep in my journal. I thought I wasn't good enough to have an audience. I just wrote stuff on my journals as a way of expressing myself. Hubpages paved the way for me. I thought I got lucky when someone posted a comment saying she liked my article.
It was the start of something big. I meet some really good friends in Hubpages. We cheered and share each others laughter and joy. We never stopped here, we ruled Facebook as well. We commented on each other's hubs posted in FB. We tagged each other with notes if we needed advise. A community was bonded like glue in HubPages that wherever we go, we support each other knowing that it is another hubber. We also Tweet in Twitter including the mother Tweeter HubPages. We belong together, in a way.
A month ago, I submitted two of my hubs to write articles for another company. I got the job and was excited about it. On my spare time, I do research for another website to write for them a few weeks from now. I am also writing a story now that I plan to publish in my own country. I have gone a long way, I must say. To see your masterpiece printed on line and to have an audience is quite an achievement.
To HubPages, your success is my joy. Thank you for creating a lovely Hubber Village. I've meet this wonderful authors because yu created something good. I know that Ryan Hupfer has been yelling at the top of his lungs to write about Products! Products! Products! I complied a few times. LOL. I hope this new venture that I took will benefit everybody. It's never wrong to throw love to the people behind this lovely neighborhood we all call HP for short. And to AdSense...uhm..uhm...thank you for my $1 something. Now, I have a dollar to my name. hehehehe (evil laugh)

You have said it all Sheena, I feel you have captured the feelings of everyone here.
Wow, Sheena, you have done well with your writing, congratulations! I too love this community of supportive writers, some who are published authors. I always learn from almost everyone in hubpages.
yea, my picture... looks very familiar hehe... its all good... hmm how has hubpages changed my life? Since I joined I've written 130 hubs, found my dream job of writing for a living, managing writers, and am now writing a hubpages eBook to share my wisdom... I love hubpages, its a great way to organize your thoughts, tempt your creative nature, and vent all that stored up information in my head over the past 34 years into money producing hubs. I am only making 1.00 a day from hubpages but its 100% passive income (I do nothing and the checks keep coming)... I wouldn't be where I am today had I not found hubpages... I'd probably be working at walmart (manager) hating life, but instead I now spin words into gold-literally.
Happy Hubbing guys!
Jerrico
Thank you, guys for your comments. And Jerrico, thank you for lending me your picture. LOL
Hubpages wouldnt be the same without you Sheena, I have yer pic pinned to the mast of my ship and trust me it keeps a smile on my crews face.
Wow! I want the Captain's smile. Leave the crew behind and let's go sailing!
I couldn't be happier for you sheena, the way things happened for you on HP. Continue to be blessed and a blessing to others :D
Yep, HubPages is awesome. It's great being able to meet people like you and others, and to read each other's work. I hope all is well with you.
Sheena - Great hub and nice answer. It is wonderful how things are working for you!! Keep at it!
Hi again, Sheena! I agree with Benjimester, it is worth it being here, meeting all of you.
Reading your comments on other pages Sheena and came to say you have me, these men can be rather snobs at time LMAO. I agree with you 100% Hubpages has certainly opened my world up too. To have beautiful people like you here makes it all the more worth while.x0x0x
Guys,
Showering me with love again? I feel like I can fly today from the rooftop of my office with so much love and happiness. You all made my day.
I'm never afraid to tell you all that I love you. Forgive the girl who doesn't have a love life and don't want to at the moment. I remeber somebody posted a question in The Hubbers Hangout. "Who's the Hubber You Fall In Love With." Or something to that effect can't remember the exact words but the answer is, I am already in love with all of you.
I'm sober believe me. LOL
Btw, what is LMAO? Been seeing you and Cris post that and I feel left out. I hate to be left out. I also live in the Hubber Village. I ought to know...I demand to know. hehehe
Thank you Sheena for responding to the request. I have not been able to hit the hubs like I usually do due to Life :) but it has been good to give it some time and see the great comments you have gotten. Thanks again for responding and keep writing. My daughter is named Sheena - it is a great name.
Hahah Sheena I think Cris explained it to you yesterday I forget now myself haha
Sheena, it's inspiring to read a success story like yours. I agree you speak for many of us here. HP has opened a new world of opportunity and a global audience for our writing that doesn't really exist anywhere else. Not to mention meeting wonderful and cool people from all around the world. I also love the photo. And yes, if I were to make a tatoo of HP it would be elegant like that. Because that is what HP is -- the BEST.
Hi Sheena, it is indeed beautiful to be part of the Hubpages family. So good to know you got this writing job! Wow! And LMAO means Laughing my ass off. Hahahaha Keep up the great work! :-)
Well, I wouldn't have a job and I wouldn't have ever met any of you awesome Hubbers...so yeah, HubPages has definitely changed my life. Thanks for all of the love, everyone!
Cute pic and gret stuff. Thanks for the hub.
Great story! Congrats on the job!
I heart them too :) Wonderful work!!
