I am writing this hub in response to a question or request. It really gets the ol' dander up.When I began to reply to this question, I didn't know I would end up ranting about the press and the presidents...but that is the direction my mind took to emphasize the point.

At no time but election time and during a crisis such as the Louisiana disaster does the media show that it is Totally bought and paid for. I don't believe for one milli-second that the media is UN-biased. It is too obvious that it isn't!

When something *big* happens, tune into the British news or Canadian CBC if you want some REAL news. The slant I see on CNN clearly shows that it is influenced by the government - it is Propaganda 98% of the time!!

Look at what they did to Dan Rather!!

No one, no matter how well respected such as Dan is Allowed to report real news OR the opinions of the people any more. You get FIRED. Tarred and feathered. Called a *Commie* and worse.

I refuse to watch American news any more it is so slanted, there is no TRUTH in it. If you want factual reporting that is Not biased, you Have to watch a foreign news channel. i find the Canadian news to be the best at actual Factual reporting. Before you slash my wrists, watch it for a week, especially as I mentioned when something *big* is going on.

Think one just this issue if you will- President Clinton and President Bush. President Clinton didn't Destroy the USA's reputation with the rest of the world; but OH how Ken Star and his cronies (and someones money) made him look like the worst President the US ever had. He certainly wasn't, not even close.

They got their nickers all in a wad over a sex scandal while the rest of the worlds leaders admired him for it. Most of the rest of the Nations don't think what he did was a big deal...and it certainly had Nothing whatsoever to do with his ability to run a country. So he had sex with someone...and over that the people of the USA allowed THEIR President to be ridiculed to the Whole world when, in fact, the rest of the world couldn't have cared less.

Be honest - didn't you find the entire thing tedious, boring and pathetic after the first day or two? Did it really require about a years worth of HeadLines!!??

And does anyone Really think he is the only President to have had sex with someone other than his wife while in office! LOL! I guess Not! Wake up!

And if you didn't, you need to find something Positive to think about and/or do with your time instead of thinking about Monica Lewinski and cigars all day!

Bush destroys the USAs reputation, puts the world in turmoil, the country is in a state of a very fast moving financial Disaster probably going to be Much worse than the *great depression* and 100 Plus more -- and what!?

Reporters have had to learn from someone with GUTS (Dan) that they Can't report the truth; they can't report anything but what they are TOLD to report; what the station heads are held captive to report.

It is getting nearly as bad as the German Propaganda machine was and I am not exaggerating! The USA isn't (probably) slaughtering millions of people (at least not at HOME) - they are just ................

I will never forget when Bush Jr. was running to President and he said

"We are NOT the worlds Police!"

Gee, George Dub-e-U; what the hell are you doing right now and basically your entire Presidency?? Your Presidency has been a Total Disaster!

And what does the media say? You all know....sigh...you all know....

You have NO leadership skills; the country of your own people is Not behind you; you have made a global mess that possibly will never be able to be made right. You could have made the USA the most popular nation in the world and look at what you have done.
