Rhinoplasty surgery, more commonly referred to as a nose job, encapsulates any surgery carried out on the nose.  Surgery is carried out for many reasons, sometimes cosmetic, other times as a result of trauma, and sometimes for medical reasons such as assisting breathing. The type and extent of surgery carried out will determin the rhinoplasty cost.

As with all types of cosmetic surgery, it is important to do your research before committing to anything. First off you want to be sure that you are one hundred percent sure in your mind what you want done and what results you want to see from it.  Once you are happy that you know what you want, then you can start looking into the different types of procedures on offer from different clinics.  Doing a bit of online research before you speak to any clinics will give you a bit more confidence that you know what you want, rather than feel you are being swayed by them to have a particular procedure.

On average, rhinoplasty costs around $6,000. Of course this figure will vary from clinic to clinic and will differ depending on the extent of the surgery you are going to have. Be sure to clarify what the price you are being quoted covers. Some clinics quote a low price in order to attract business, only for people to find that vital elements such as the cost of anaesthesia or maybe aftercare are not included in that price. It is no good opting for a seemingly low price only to find you end up paying nearly double the quoted price. You should never choose a clinic based purely on price. If a clinic is offering an all-in price that seems to good to be true it probably is.  Be sure to visit the clinic you are going to have your surgery at, ask to look round and see the operating theatres and recovery areas if possible. You will be paying a lot of money for your surgery so you want to be sure you are going to receive the best treatment in the nicest surroundings. Make sure that the surgeon you speak to in your pre-surgery consultation is the surgeon that is going to carry out your surgery, that way you can have confidence that they know exactly what you are hoping to achieve and be aware of any concerns you may have about the procedure.

When taking into account the personal benefits of having surgery, rhinoplasty cost doesn't seem to matter that much if it means you are going to feel more confident in yourself and your appearance.
