Diamonds are a girl's best friend

It's true, diamonds are a girl's best friend. You can't go wrong with diamonds, if you can afford it, then go all out, you can make it your family heirloom and your wife-to-be can pass it on to the next generation. The older the diamond, the more valuable they become.

Every girl wants to have the best engagement ring (I know I did!), but women of today are also much more sensible and would settle for anything within your means, just don't be overly cheap, at least spend over a little, like say 2-3 months salary, don't look at it as an expense, look at it as an investment. Your lady love will surely be grateful.

If 2-3 months salary seems too much for you, then I suggest you improvise. There are a lot of different diamond rings to choose from and some of them are expensive because of the cut of the diamond itself. So, if you're working on a budget, choose a cut that's not too big and maybe set on white gold. It's a lot cheaper than a diamond that's set on platinum, but it looks just as nice.

Whatever type of ring you buy, I'm sure your lady love will love it. Just make sure you don't forget what the ring symbolizes, your vow to care and love for her until death.
