What will a $100 buy you in the country you live in?

Ok, So you may not use dollars as your local currency but many people are earning a living and being paid in dollars including all of us here at Hubpages.com who all earn dollars which is then converted in to our local currency....It would be nice to know which country one can go with $100 to buy the most things!
I chose milk and cigarettes as an example because i assumed they were the most common products... It is impossible for me to convert and research every milk and cigarette current prices for every country and state so I'm hoping you all can help:)
Question: How many cigarettes and how many pints of milk could you buy with one hundred dollars where you live? I know prices vary from state to state and county to county but i hope to find out all the answers soon.......I live in the UK so 1.00 USD = 0.50 GBP, meaning, one pint of milk is 40 pence and one packet of cigarettes is £5.56p.
My answer. I could buy 9 packs (20 cigs in each pack) for 100 dollars, OR 40 pints of milk..

We have been ripped off as a nation for so long..The farmers are getting ripped off by the supermarkets and the supermarkets rip us off even for local milk which is 40p a pint..we don't have gallons!
Ciggs are imported and because so expensive i smoke much less...

Indian cigs are available in a wide price range. My brand is a popular one and costs $2 for a 20pack. A pint of milk is about 20c.
So for $100 I'll get 50 packs of cigs or 500 pints of milk. LOL

Stubbs..I need to go to France Paul but that will only encourage me to smoke more..I don't know how much they are in France but i know many Brits go to France just for the duty free...

The cigs are getting expensive here too. A pack is now about 4-5 euros. Most of my friends go to Italy, and all the Italians go to Andorra - That's the cheapest. :)

Drink milk and foget cigarettes. Cigarettes are bad for your health and exposing others to second hand smoke is not fair, especially if they are innocent children.
That's not the point, Sweetiepie. None of these gentlemen would smoke in the presence of nonsmokers! They are just comparing prices.

thanks for that link compu-smart---I don't like that I smoke and I try to be a "courteous"smoker,but I was raised in an age where it was the "thing"Matter of fact,may do a hub on that!!some of the old ads,and the ease of getting cigs at a young age has me addicted.

We all grew up where smoking was soo cool to do but hopefully with all the new rules, regulations etc the next generation "hopefully this one" will learn that smoking is not cool, at all!...and yes your idea sounds good. you may need to ad some gore to the hub to show smokings true effects which may hopefully help us quit;)
You can't quit until you decide to do so. When you made a decision, it is not hard at all. The tricky part is to decide, and nobody can do this for you.
I kinda know what I'm talking about, if 35 years of smoking and overnight quit count, of course :)
I can buy myself 100 McChickens for $100, thats about how much $100 gets me these days, its sad...

Prices in Hungary:1 pack of cigarettes: 3 dollars1 pint of milk: 37 cents
That gives you 33 packs of cigarettes or 270 pints of milk for $100.
Here in the UK is such a ripoff!! Hungary here i come!!lol
