The sample for How to Be a Comedy Writer by Mark Blake is disappointing to say the least. It's almost entirely table of contents and introduction, followed by about 2 pages worth of text which ends on "see clipping" but no clipping to see. I almost felt bamboozled by this sample, except, of course, it's free.

I haven't decided whether or not to buy the book anyway, but the sample definitely didn't sell it to me.
