The Monster Club is formed by Charlotte's classmate, Steven Binder. Charlotte, Rose and Steven get caught up in controversy, involving the school newspaper, and the monster club. The book explores the meaning of friendship when Charlotte and Rose's friendship is put to the test by lies, secrets and Monsters!
