How to Become a Company Director -Procedure for Getting DIN Number
75RUNNING COMPANY AND DIN NUMBER
As per the existing Indian Company laws, an existing company director or a person aspiring to be one in future must have a DIN number. It is the company affairs ministry of the central government that allocates DIN number.
Everything needs records and accounts. Proper recording and maintenance of accounts and registers for decisions made are to be kept. These are to be communicated to the Registrar of Companies (R.O.C) in time.
As soon as the Company is born, the share holders should meet and elect directors of the company to administer the affairs of the company. Besides important records are to be approved. Wherever individuals’ signatures are required, the Company’s signature is also required. The Company’s signature is the Company’s seal.
Therefore the seal approved by the Company Directors is very important. Just like that all the decisions taken by the Company are recorded and safeguarded in a register called Minutes Book. Besides, share capital, details of members and other important matters are maintained in a legally valid register. This is the Statutory Register.
Director Board includes elected members of the management of the Company (to run).
Company Directors must have identification numbers these days. This is Directors Identification Number or DIN. According to Indian Company Act 1956, Section, 266(b), A Company’s existing Director or an aspiring future Director of a Company must take DIN number.
