So often I hear people talk about issues that they care about or are concerned about but because of a busy schedule they feel helpless to make a difference. Now that most non-profits and political groups have a web site, it has never been easier to get your opinion to the people who can change policies, create policies and help to create real change. Below is a list (by no means extensive or all inclusive) to get you started on becoming an activist in ten minutes a day or less. All of the following web sites have a "take action" or "action" section or they have information on writing letters to editors, or signing online petitions on issues that concern you.

White House

United States Senate

United States House of Representatives

The Democratic Party

Republican National Committee

Independent American Party

Union of Concerned Scientists

The Sierra Club
