How to Change The Business Name on your PayPal Account

Although you cannot change the name on your PayPal account to a different person's name, you can change your business name and other minor names if you registered using a nickname, a fictitious name, or made a typographical error.

It's very simple and easy to do...

STEP 1.

As shown in the image above, open your Web browser and go to: https://www.paypal.com/us/wf/f=ap_namechg

STEP 2.

Enter your log in details and "Log In".

STEP 3.

Select the radio button "Business Name Change (business name)", then click the "Continue" button.

STEP 4.

Enter your new business name, then click on the "Continue" button.

STEP 5.

Wa-la..., your business name has been changed. Click on "Go to my Account".

STEP 6.

View your new, changed business name and details.

TIP: This process works exactly same for the other following types of name changes on your PayPal Account: Personal Name Change (marriage, divorce, legal), Personal Name Change (incorrect at signup or minor name change), Business Name Change (change contact name), Business Name Change (business name).
