HOW TO MAKE AN ITALIAN COLD CUT CALZONE

Making a Italian Cold cut Calzone

When I make an Italian cold cut calzone it’s a big hit especially during football season I will give you my way of making a great Italian calzone.

(Ingredients’)

1-LB of Fresh Store bought dough

1-LB of Sliced Good Ham

1-LB Mort Della Imported is really good

1-3/4 lb sweet capicola or (hot capicola)

1-1/2 lb salami

1-LB of provolone

1- LB mozzarella whole milk or (part skin)

1-small can of tomato sauce

Sesame seeds

Olive oil

Flour

Non stick foil

First thing is too roll out your dough on a Floured Flat surface with a rolling pin, tip (put some Flour on pin) until your dough is flat and ready to stuff, Tip (I like to make mine in a oval shape Easier To Fold and stuff).

Then add your sliced provolone to The bottom and middle of the Calzone this cheese Will hold Your calzone together nicely, then add Your ham/salami/morta Della and top with your Diced Mozzarella cheese to the top, and then put a Small amount of Tomato sauce on the top.

Then your Ready to fold the top over the bottom you may have To Adjust the meat a little so The dough totally Covers, the whole calzone then you can use a fork To crimp the edges, this Will hold your calzone Together then using a brush some olive oil on The Top this will give your Calzone a nice golden brown Crust, and sprinkle some sesame Seeds on the top.

Then pre heat your oven to 375 degrees and a tip is Make sure you use a Non stick foil, if Not your Calzone will stick to everything, and cook for Approximately 20 to 30 minutes until the Top is Golden brown.

And then take out of oven an let cool Down for about 12 minutes or so and serve and Enjoy.

(Cost of this is about 13.00 dollars)
