What is TMJ?

TMJ is basically a condition in which the temporomandibular joint which connects the jawbone to the skull is misaligned or the cartilage that protects the joint starts to wear down which in turn causes bones to rub against bones.

It is caused by literally anything that places unusual pressure on the joint.  This can include something as small as chewing gum or could happen due to trauma to the head.  The most frequent cause of TMJ is the grinding or clenching of your teeth though.

In some rare cases, TMJ could be caused by imbalnces in spinal alignment or a deficiency in nutrients like magnesuim.

No matter what the cause, if you have TMJ, you know it.  At best, TMJ can be uncomfortable with the worst cases being downright painful.

While there are some doctors that claim miracle cures for TMJ through surguries, I want to caution you though.  Before you go through with aggressive and invasive procedures, you should try some of the natural ways to treat TMJ first.

If you "cure" TMJ and the symptom was tinnitus, does that mean you will be relieved of you tinnitus?

Not sure...I would guess if the TMJ was causing the tinnitus then it should. However, I wouldn't bet my life on it.
