1. Wipe the surface clean.
2. Neatly cut out pictures from magazines, books, wrapping paper, or greeting cards.
3. Plan how you'll arrange the pictures. These may overlap.
4. Coat with glue the back of the picture as well as the area where you'll attach it.
5. Gently place the picture on top of the glued area. Using wet fingers, gingerly push down on the picture to smooth out wrinkles and remove excess glue. Move from the center of the picture outwards.
6. Repeat step four and five with each additional picture you intend to glue. Let it dry.
7. Apply diluted white glue over the pictures to seal them. Let this dry completely. To dilute your white glue, mix three parts glue to one part water.
8. Continue applying coats of diluted white glue until the edges of your picture are flat and smooth. You may finish the project with polyurethane, especially if you'll be using the item in a bathroom.
