Here are some cool and fun ways you can discover other artists that you haven't heard of. It's always fun to discover and experiment with new artists.

  1. One way which is pretty obvious is to talk to your friends and see what kind of artists they listen to. One game that I like to play with my friends is to exchange IPODs and put it on shuffle. It's a great way to discover new songs and who knows you might even discover a different side to them that you never knew. This also makes a great ice breaker with someone you just met.
  2. Using the iTunes store is also a great way to discover new music. Just take the time to visit artists that you like and look at the recommendations section. iTunes also lets you listen to small clip of their songs.
  3. One program I like to use is www.last.fm . It allows you to download this program that scrobbles your songs. This means that every song you listen to gets entered into their database and helps you find songs and other artists that match your taste.

These are my top three ways that I discover music. Their all fun and simple, so go out there and discover those hidden gems!
