How to Win it all

Let's please understand my goal is to help each and every one of you. I am not a fortune teller I can not predict how your fantasy football season will start or end. But I can provide you with the knowledge and the advice to potentially lead you to do amazing things in your fantasy football leagues, like win!

The following points below, you must understand very careful and if you have trouble understanding read them over again and write them somewhere to remind yourself.

Here goes............

1. You MUST know what league you are participating in and understand the scoring format of your league. For example if your league rewards 4 points for touchdowns instead of 6 points quarterbacks become less valuable or do fantasy players get points for every reception, these fantasy players will have a higher value in your draft. My best advice is to do standard fantasy football scoring format league. Keep it simple.

2. Buy a fantasy football magazine and get familiar with all the fantasy players like Quarterbacks (QB), Running backs (RB), Wide Receivers (WR), Tight Ends (TE), Kickers (K), and Defenses (DEF).

3. After you are done reading your Fantasy football Magazine, make a list of players who you would like to target in your upcoming draft. Like for each position write down on a paper, your top 5 Quarterbacks, your top 10 Running backs, your top 10 Wide Receivers, your top 5 Tight ends, and your top 5 Defenses with respect to your fantasy football magazine rankings. Make a list of 5 Sleeper Candidates (guys who feel will do well this fantasy season that many people aren't aware of) don't worry about your Kicker position; it isn't important for your draft strategy.

4. Next make sure you do at least 5 mock drafts before your actual draft. The first mock draft is to get you familiar with drafting again since the last fantasy football season was many months ago. The second, third, and fourth mock drafts are used so you can try draft strategies like maybe for second mock draft you should draft 2 Top RBs with your first 2 picks and for your third mock draft you should draft a Top QB and a TOP WR and so forth. At the end of your three mock drafts, evaluate and grade your team. The fifth mock draft should be done like one or two days before your actual draft. Also make sure you participate in mock drafts that are very similar to your fantasy league formats (like if you're doing a 10 person league do a mock 10 person and not a 12 person league).

5. Draft Day has come! This is the most anticipated day for almost all fantasy football owners. Remember be relax and confident, more than likely something in your draft will occur that you never expected. You just have to be flexible and adjust. Bring your list that you create to your draft, guard it with your life because you don't want anyone to know which players you like or are targeting in your fantasy league's draft.

6. Understand that a good draft could pave the way for a very smooth season for you and your fantasy team. Make sure to get as many players on your list as you can in your 1st 5 rounds of the draft, some players might slide to you that didn't expect don't hesitate DRAFT THEM! I like to call this steals of the drafts, take to get as many steals as you can. Don't draft a player higher than what he is expected to be drafted unless your absolutely 100% positive that he will do exceptionally well.

7. Tips for your draft:

• Draft as many players as you can on your list • Don't draft fantasy players such as WRs and RBs that are over the age of 35 for WRs and 30 for RBs. • Always draft either a RB or QB with your first pick • Always at least 2 defenses • Always draft a Kicker (K) with your last pick • Make sure to draft at least 2 out of your 5 sleeper candidates

8. Relax! Breathe! Your draft is over. Now you just have to watch the fantasy news on your players in preseason leading up to the regular season. If you don't have the time or energy to keep up on your fantasy players on a consistent basis, try to do a league that drafts right before the regular season begins (like maybe a week or two before).

9. If you're thinking about making a trade, try to make a trade before your season starts. Once season begins it is a lot tougher to trade.

10. Always play your top fantasy football players, but consider playing other fantasy players when the match up is right. You will have to use your own discretion on this one.

11. Once season begins work those waivers wire, it doesn't matter if your team is doing good or doing bad. You should always have at least 2 spots on your bench for adding random waiver wire pickups, trust me it will only help you.

12. By mid-season around week 7, look at your team and evaluate all schedules of fantasy players on your team. At that point decide on whether you should make a move to better your team or stay put with the fantasy players that you have.

13. Remember this very important strategy! Always Buy Low and Always Sell High! If a fantasy player is playing a lot better than you expected on your team try to sell or trade him to someone so you can get the most value for that player. Also if a fantasy player is playing awful or bad, try to trade for him or picked up off waivers (free agents list) when the stock or value is low.

14. Assuming you have now made the playoffs, you must win the next 2 games; one of which is in week 15 and the championship is in week 16. There is no true strategy when it comes to the playoffs. It takes some skill but also a bit of luck. Just be confident and trust to put your best lineup possible in those 2 weeks and you be walking away with a championship trophy.

15. If you understand all this tips and points I have made, well you should have no trouble winning your fantasy league.
