66How to Make Revenue on HubPages
Earning revenue is an easy but you must read all the information available to you on Hubpages. To earn revenue from hubpages, you will have to write an originial, interesting and relevant article that will attract readers. When these reader are attracted to your article, the article must have the revenue capsules available on your article so they can shop online from your hubpage.
The revenue capsules for HubPages are eBay and Amazon. Ebay is known for inexpensive used and sometimes new items of every make, model and design. Amazon is mostly a media site of books, CD's and dvd's. However, the site has been advertising that it sells more than just media and offers similar products as Ebay.
Of course, you are not going to have to go to the individual sites and then figure out how to link your hubpage readers to the finds selected from eBay or Amazon. The intelligent folks at HubPages have made the connection for you with the Affiliate Setting caption found on the home page.
Do not enter the Affiliate setting unless you have added eBay and Amazon to your article from the Revenue Capsules on the edit page.
From the Affiliate Setting page, you can track your earnings by clicking on ebay or amazon at the bottom left of the page. Follow the prompts and open an ebay account and amazon account from the Affiliate Setting page. Once you open the box from this page your ebay and amazon accounts will be assigned an ID number. Once your have an Id Number you can follow the prompts and make sure that the both accounts shows "active" in the excel field on the Affiliate setting page. You can track your ebay and amazon earnings from this page as well.
The first step is to assign the Revenue Capsules of ebay and amazon to your actual article. The Revenue Capsules are found on the upper right of your hubpage edit page. The Revenue Capsules is in a separate space underneath the Content Capsules of text, photo, video, etc.
Once you have produced a quality relevant article and before clicking on the Publish Now button, you should click on ebay and on amazon revenue capsules. These capsules will immediately be located at the end of the article once your click on the edit page. Just as you would edit the text, click on the edit button on the ebay or amazon box. Click on the ebay and amazon logos now at the bottom of your article indicate if you want ebay to automatically find relevant items to sell or if you want to make the selections.
It is better to select the keywords yourself because the ebay or amazon server may dish out products that are not sellable or relevant to the article. Make sure that your selections from the revenue capsules of ebay and amazon are relevant to your quality articles. Follow the prompts on the ebay and amazon edit page to select how many items you would like to list. Always select the most products to add variety to the reader's shopping experience on your hubpage.
Always save after you have make your selections on ebay and amazon from the revenue capsules by following the prompts. Remember to always select relevant products so that the reader will not be turned off as though you are trying to make a sale. No one likes to be sold to or to think that they are being taken advantage of.
If you select relevant products, then the reader is going to think that you are helping him or her to shop for a products that is useful and relevant to your article that they have just read.
The number of ebay and amazon capsules you assign to your hubpage article is up to you. You are not limited to using one eBay capsule and one amazon capsule. However, if you list more than two of each revenue capsules of ebay and amazon, the reader may again think that you are trying to sell to them. Use discretion when deciding how many products you need to add to educate or entertain your reader with your article. Do not overwhelm your reader with tons of product listing after the article. If the reader thinks that he is being sold to, then he will not purchase anything.
Your personality and charm is not there to ease the thoughts of the reader being sold to so it is best to keep the salesmanship down and concentrate on really trying to extend your article with relevant merchandise to purchase. Selling loads of products after the reader has read your article is going to confuse him into not buying anything at all. So use discretion with product selection from the HubPage revenue capsules.
As a rule of thumb, always ask for comments after you have offered merchandise in your revenue capsules. On the edit page, use the reorder box to locate the comments after selections have been made from the revenue capsules. The placement of the comments box after the ebay and amazon capsules makes the reader have to scan through the products before making a comment. If you place the revenue capsules after the comments, the reader may be want to comment after writing a comment and may not scroll down to look at the products. Always list comment last and if your choose to add a news caption, place that caption after the comments. Otherwise the comments should be the last caption on your article.
Write an article that the customer is interested in and would like to comment. You want the reader to want to interact with you as the author and to comment on the article so that you can network to increase your customer base. The reader will be so excited to comment on your article that after scrolling past ebay and amazon products, he or she may glide by a product and come back to purchase it.
Digg.com uses the same tactic to get viewers to comeback and read other relevant articles. Digg.com is a social media network found on the Share Icon at the bottom of your article on HubPages. Once you log into the site and before Digg.com link or publish your article, a caption would appear that your article may be duplicate. Then you have to scrolll down a list of articles to make sure that it has not already been submitted by someone else or yourself twice. While you are checking for your duplicate article, they are banking on the fact that you may see a relevant article and come back to read it. If you are really interested in the article that you read on Digg.com, you may become a member which is the ultimate goal of Digg.com.
However, Digg.com made a mistake when they asked about a duplicate article and then give you a listing with the hopes that you will come back and read relevant articles. If the article have been submitted more than once, then you would receive a caption that said "Cool this article has already been submitted." You really do not have to scroll down on the page to check because if your article is a duplicate then the "Cool" message would appear. The format that is in place to check for duplicate article must be producing new members because the set up has not changed.
On hubpages, the object of the game is to get the reader to scroll past the products, see an item they would like to purchase, make their comments and then come back to purchase from the revenue capsules, ebay or amazon. Also authors looking to make more revenue on HubPages would be pleased if the reader clicks on a product from the ebay or amazon revenue capsule the first time without the reader scrolling back up.

monetizing blogs have become a modern day trend. This definitely will help newbies clarify the basics on writing for money! And we wonder why we took all those nit-picking English courses in high school and college....Find more helpful eBay information at http://thegreatebaysolution.com
