There is one problem with the popular game system, the Xbox 360, made by microsoft.  That is the red ring, also known as the red ring of death.  If you didn't know, when you turn on your Xbox 360 their should be a green light around the power botton.  However, when many people turn on their console they see from 1-4 red rings around the circle.  With the red rings you cannot play your fun game system.  The red rings can be a sign of hardwear failure, electric failure, or that the console has overheated.  Hardwear failure is the most common, and that is when 3 red lights appear when you turn your console on.  To fix this problem is very easy and cheap.  A couple weeks ago i turned on my Xbox 360 hoping to play, but 3 red rings appeared.  I went to xbox.com to see how i could get this problem fixed.  I found out that Microsoft had made an extended warranty through 2010 for all Xbox 360's with the 3 red rings.  In order to fix it all you have to do is register your console on xbox.com by following a few simple steps.  Next you choose whether or not you want to use your own box to ship it in, or have Microsoft send you a pre-paid shipping label and box.  I chose to have them send it to me.  I recieved the box and shipping label the next day after I requested it.  Then I sent it in and it was returned to me withing 6 days.  It has worked better than before and was very easy to get fixed!  If you have electric failure, which usually shows up after a storm all you have to do is unplug all cords and wait 10-15 minutes and you should be able to get back to playing.  For overheating all you have to do is wait and let it sit and cool off a little before you can get back to playing the most entertaing game system.
