Teleseminars...A Great New Way to Sell Information Products

Teleseminars, also known as webinars, are quickly becoming a top way to sell information products.  If you want to start selling products online through this proven method, the first thing you are going to need is people who are interested in what you have to say...that is, listeners, on your teleseminar.  So how do you generate listeners?  I get future clients through a combination of emails and a registration page.

The strategy I use is sending out three emails to generate interest in my teleseminar class.  For example, if my class is one week away, I use a broadcast to announce my teleseminar.  I always send this broadcast to everyone on my list.  Broadcasts differ from normal follow up messages.

So, for example, my broadcast might go something like this:  "Hello Everyone!  I'm putting on a free teleseminar a week from Wednesday on July 9.  I'd love for you to join me.  Here is the phone number where you can dial in."  Although the teleseminar, or webinar, is free to anyone, you still need to let your potentials clients know why they want to see what you have to offer.  My goal is to use a very simple registration page to get the email and name of those who may be interested.

Incorporate Catchy Headlines and Bullet Points

It is very important for you to have simple bullet points as well as a great headline on your registration page.  It has to be really easy to read and scroll through.  Most people will not take the time to read every word, so your bullets should be succinct. Make sure to let potential attendees know what content will be covered so they have an idea of how badly they need to hear what you have to say on your topic.  Also, let them know that there will be a time for them to ask any questions they may have.

It is a great idea to include a sampling of the content in your teleseminar event.  These events are unique, "one-time only" events.  When I host a webinar or teleseminar, I usually include the following, "The 3 most popular trends for home-based family businesses over the next year."  You just plug-and-play with your business.  Some examples:

"The 7 keys to saving on your car and how each key helps you in the long run."

"The one giant mistake folks make when determining what potential clients want that costs money, time and aggravation (and how this one huge mistakes really limits what they are able to do online." You could use an example of how this one humongous mistake is what keeps them driving a Ford Taurus instead of the Lexus they dream about.

"What the big difference is between the man who gets a good deal on a car for his family versus the guy who pays full retail price that the salesman just loves to see walking into the lot."

"Plug-and-Play"

So do you see the main idea?  The goal of this list is so your reader will understand that you've got a lot more information that they are interested in than they originally thought.  I call this "plug-and-play" with the bullet points on www.FastInfoProducts. These are so much more powerful than you think and naturally stimulate a lot of curiosity in the reader.

So going back to discussing email, it's a great idea to have these bullet points built into your emails in order to encourage your reader to click from the email to your registration page and sign up for teleseminar.  As an example, you might send and announcement to your list on Thursday letting them know that in one week you're going to have a terrific teleseminar and then direct them to the page where they can register.  A couple days later you might send a follow up email reminding them of the upcoming event.  Finally, on the day of the teleseminar you should send them a final announcement reminder, "Hi Everyone...don't forget we have a great teleseminar lined up in about 6 hours."

These are a few ways that I generate future clients on my teleseminar calls by using a registration page along with targeted emails.  I hope these ideas help you get started with your own teleseminars.
