How to Maximize Traffic to Your Hubpage Site

How to Maximize Traffic to Your Hubpage Site informs the writer of the importance of writing with relevance to the intended audience.

You can not only write hubpage articles and then expect traffic to increase because of your hard work and diligence. You can work hard and optimize your article with photos and videos even add a few links but if you do not promote the hubpage to other sites. the traffic will get stalled. If you are interested in maximizing traffic to your hubpages then you must get out of treating the hubpage article like a mere piece of writing. You must treat your hubpage article like a marketing tool that once completed needs to follow the proper channels to get increased readership and maximum traffic.

Writers are creative people and the ideas are parading from these brilliant minds onto the internet in the form of blogs or articles. Most writers are not business majors and do not know the ins and outs of marketing and selling. If you are writing for hubpages and the site is paying you for your writing skills, it is a good idea to retain your creativity but do a bit more and learn how to market what you write.

If you were to write a book, the publisher would take care of all of the promotional details and have you at Barnes and Nobles for a book signing. However, as a hubpage writer you must be the promoter. There is no need to be shy and say that you can not promote your articles. Electronic submission on the computer of your online article or hubpage article is the easiest way to promote. Use other electronic transmitted websites such as Ask.com or AOL to promote your written works. The websites that are found on the share icon that you can Google to receive, will provide you with a list of all of the websites that accept written content for readership.

These sharing websites found on the share icon wants your written content because they have ads that needs to be clicked on for monetization. You are supplying these websites with what is needed to get the readers to their sites with the goal of making money with pay per click on Google Ads. Do not think that Google Adsense is just prevalent on Hubpages. Google Adsense can be added to your blog if you have an account with Blogger. Google Adsense is Google so to speak because through the written text is how Google gets paid.

Join in with the other writers and do not stay on hubpages with your articles and your creativity. Branch out to other sites that is found on the share icon. The share icon at the bottom of the articles are for the most part there for the readers to share with their friends. You need to connect with the share incon that has a myriad of social websites that will welcome your creative and relevant written work.

Getting to Know Your URL to Maximize Traffic

Your URL is the address or all of your hubpage articles. Your URL is formulated as follows: www.hupages.com/profile/what you call your venture. For example the URL for the author of this article if https://www.hubpages.com/profile/lindagoffigan. The URL should be the banner you carry with you when you visit social medias such as Digg.com or Twitter. Your URL should give the reader an idea of what your articles is about. This is new information that was found after the above URL was formed.

If your interest is in furniture or jewelry, you may want the last part of the url to indicate furniture or jewelry. That way you are advertising the type of articles the reader will find if they open your hubpage article. Newcomers to Hubpages or other writing sites do not realize that the URL can be a promotion of what they write, which is unfortunate.

When you comment on a site other than Hubpages, make your comment and then paste your URL at the end of your comment. Do not promote on Hubpages because you may be banned because Hubpages frown on promoting your site on hubpages. But on other sites, consider leaving your banner URL as a signature of you having commented or been on the site with an invite to visit your site.

Maximizing your Hubpages for more traffic can be a lot of work and a major job if you are a prolific writer and have written plenty of articles. Check your Google Analytics and see where your traffic is coming from. If you see that you are getting a lot of traffic from Yahoo Buzz, then your articles must be relevant to readers on that site. From that point on, make sure that you distribute or promote every article that you write to Yahoo Buzz. Then on the weekends at your leisure, promote your articles to other websites being careful to leave your banner url. Follow the steps in How to Maximize Your Hubpage Traffic and you will be amazed at the increase in traffic to your hubpage site.

In the end, as far as making money on hubpages, or other places online, it's all about not only generating traffic, but generating the right traffic.

That's all about getting good backlinks, which lands you high up in the search engine results pages. Those are the people you want coming to your hubs, blogs or websites.

You're right though, you can't just write a hub and think they'll come. You have to work to drive traffic, putting up a hub is just the first step.

namelessrider, thank you for your comment.

I adhere to my goal of writing at least three to four quality articles a day to help others who may want my advice on relevant topics.

Your acknowledgement of the total number thus far (though I concentrate on the qualitative and not necessarily the quantity) is much appreciated.

Going on journey is more enjoyable when each step is headed toward a goal and not necessarily counted. That is the way I have approached writing for hubpages. Your comment is greatly appreciated and I invite you to read and enjoy more of lindagoffigan on hubpages library of hubpage articles.
