How to Get Multiple Listings on Page 1 of Google for Your HubPages in 24 Hours
75
Here's How to Do It
So, you want your HubPage to dominate the first page of Google search results in record time?
Here's how:
- Create your HubPage with the keywords you want to rank for in the HubPage Title and page URL.
- Tag your HubPage with those keywords and all variations you can think of (including misspellings)
- When you create the text content of your HubPage, use this free article writing software tool to find the highest traffic 'money keywords' you should include in your content, and write your content so it includes these terms (don't overdo it - the ArticleJockey.com website will tell you have kept things sane)
- Include more content like photos with captions, related video from YouTube, RSS feeds pertinent to your article, links to other resources, etc.
- Now, submit your HubPage to Digg, StumbleUpon, etc. BUT MAKE SURE you use different titles for the page, different descriptions of the page, different tags for the page on each of these Social Bookmarking sites. This is important so you aren't just duplicating the same title or headline and tags over and over.
- Sit back and wait 24 hours or so. Then search Google for your HubPage title in quotes, like this:
- "How to Choose the Best Basketball Trophies"
- When you see that your HubPage has been indexed by Google (and not just the Digg result that comes within hours of bookmarking on Digg), do a search on Google for your keyword phrase, like this:
- "Best Basketball Trophies"
- If you've done it right, you should see your HubPage at the top of Google with the extra, coveted 'Indented Listing' - that's 2 listings in the Top 10 of Google (on page 1 of Google search listings)
- You should ALSO see your Digg bookmark - that's 3 of the Top 10 listings on page 1 of Google.
Does this work for really competitive keywords? That depends on a lot of factors, but if you follow these steps you should do pretty well overall.
My Results (Individual Results May Vary)
So, here's what I got 24 hours using the above method:
- 'Best Basketball Trophies' listed #1, #2 and #3 on the first page of Google out of 305,000 competing pages!
- 'Team Basketball Trophies' listed #1, #2 and #4 on the first page of Google out of 287,000 competing pages!
This happened 24 hours after following the above procedure.
Good Luck!

Hey trophy man... I like your hub man.
Nice vision of online visibility shown. Great work it's really cool
Great information well written.
Great point about changing the title and descriptions when bookmarking. For some reason I did not think of that
Nice article. I will check out the article jockey site. It will make my life easier! :)
Thanks for the info on Article Jockey, I will give it a try.
What about the fact that a lot of searches don't use quotes when they search? Would you still come up #1?
Hi seamus,
I think you understand - the search in quotes is only to find out if Google has indexed your HubPage yet - since your HubPage title is probably 100% unique, by searching for it in quotes, if it shows up in Google's SERPS, you know they found/indexed it.
AFTER that, you do a broad match (no quotes) search for phrases your HubPage would show up under.
Great information. Thank you for sharing.
I have used Article Jockey and I love it....but this is crazy Trophy Man!
Can I call you Trophy man or should I call you TM?
I'm going to use this method and will report back with my results.
Some great SEO advice here - a super hub and welll worth a thumbs-up from everybody!
Great hub. I learn a lot, thanks.
trophyman,
you rock. watched your new vid about why not to use clipmarks. the interesting thing was the *other* tool you mention in there -- the one that tracks nofollow links.
what i noticed was that the outgoing links on my HUBPAGE had been nofollow'ed (for me apparently).
I guess I have to play with the settings some or do some more reasearch to see why this is so -- i notice yours are not. i'll try to report back here if i figure it out. if anyone else knows, let me know :)
ciao,

ok...here's the deal-io...google is your friend. in some cases, you need to dig a little deeper than the first few serps...or reword you search :)
"HubPage hubs must be over 50 in HubScore AND your AuthorScore must be over 75 to be dofollow."
There was a lot of disinformation, but this seems to be the only one that fits. right now my article is like a 77 and my author score is a 70. So, if/when my author score goes over 75 i'll be able to confirm this for sure.
Yes, that is correct - your scores have to be above HubPage's threshold for the NOFOLLOW tags to be removed - also, if you have more than 2? links to a single domain they will NOFOLLOW the extra ones (I believe), but you can have multiple outbound links if no more than 2 go to a single domain
wicked
Trophyman,
Good info, and nicely done. You provide a lot of value in this article. I just wish Propeller was still accepting Hubs. Also, besides digg and SU, any other specific ones you can suggest? I thought technorati would help but I am not so sure that does anything for getting articles indexed and ranked.
Oh, there are LOTS of ways to build links into your HubPages - check out my other HubPage:
Great resource on hubpages and SERPs. I never even thought of changing title/description/tags, etc. for social bookmarking sites.
