How to Get Pregnant

Well, first comes love and then comes marriage... but, these days there seems to be so many couples struggling to conceive. My personal opinion? I think that the majority of women, and their partners, trying to get pregnant are not in the best state of health. We have too many conflicting messages from the media about what is "good for us", most of which is terribly bad advice. Low-fat diets, synthetic vitamin supplements, fast food and soft drinks all add up to a recipe for disaster when one is trying to get pregnant. The best advice I can compile from all my studying and obsessing about nutrition is this: eat real whole foods and cut back on the junk. If you are fueling your body with real meats, fish, vegetables, fruit, and full-fat dairy, you can be assured that your reproductive system is getting what it needs to perform properly. And that goes for "daddy", too. You both need to be healthy to ensure the best chances for a successful conception, pregnancy and delivery. I also think that exercise helps. We have heard too many well-meaning friends and family advise us to "relax" when we are frustrated about not getting pregnant. Well, easy for them to say!! It is just way too hard to do that when you are sincerely worried that something may be wrong with you. But, one thing you can do is walk, jog, swim, whatever you enjoy doing that helps you deal with some of that anxiety. Last, but not least, remember that everything happens in its own time and place. There is a plan for all of us on this planet, and you will conceive exactly when you are supposed to. Sometimes, that means a little bit of waiting for many of us.

YEHEY! I praise this hub! Thanks so much! I am trying to get pregnant and you just confirmed it to me that I just need to eat the right food, get enough exercise.. I must admit that I've been anxious lately. I think I may need to change my work environment to relieve me with stress and anxiety. Kudos!

I advice to eat less( if possible, nil) meat and eggs;avoid drinks.Intercourse must be at right time leaving some gaps of 2-3 days.

Don't postpone pregnancy till your economic level reaches high . Your body systems won't wait that much. Better to conceive and get children by the time you are 25.And, for children's sake, tolerate the differences between hub and wife.
