How to Live with 3 Girls, 3 Boys, 1 Wife and 1 Mother-in-Law
64
I live with 3 girls, 3 boys and 2 ladies, wow! I will try to introduce each and everyone of them the best that I am able to. I will give as much information about them (I dont think they will approve), not too much though, until it will bore you.
Before that, here is a bit about me. I am 42, been married for 17 years, another wow! I have been working for construction companies for 17 years too. I have handle so many and such big projects. I am jovial person and I am putting that into whatever I do as much as posssible but as it should not all the times. Okay, enough about me, where are we before.... oh yes, introduction of the main characters.
My eldest daughter, Fatin, aged 16 now, very petite but dont be fool with her size. she can be worst than lionest when needed. She is doing very well in school and I have a feeling that she will continue doing well with less assistance from me. She is also religious, havent missed her required prayers from 11 year-old. Hold on, be patient. I know that you are eager to know her weaknesses. Off course she has them. But for the sake of this article, one of her mattered weakness is that she able to turn around on a dime and being rude to her mother and grandma. Really rude not just a mild scream and all, I mean the full blast rude.
Next come Fairuz, a girl a year younger than Fatin but taller and bigger in size. She is as tall as her mother and only 2 inches shorter than me. She is also doing well in school only not as good as her elder sister, the thing is I dont think she cares about it. She feel oblige to help around the house whenever necessary, can cook simple meal. She taught her cleverer sister how to cook. She likes to watch tv (live sports telecast especially soccer sometimes right up to 4 am!), follow me around everywhere whenever I am taking a drive, collects all kind of sweets as a treat to her siblings when doing chores for her. Nowadays, sweets dont work anymore so she has to fork out her money. Mattered weakness - when she doesnt get her way, the dark side of her takes control and you dont to be around when that happens.
Fatima aged 12, getting taller by the day but too thin, she doesnt eat as often and as much. She is the unfortunate in the family, living with acute asthma from 6 month-old. Been in and out hospital ever since and had lost half of right lungs by the age of 10. For the past year or so her condition has improved tremendously. Maybe because of this she is the most stubborn. I tend to choose her side during siblings argument, this has made others jealous. She just cannot get along with her two elder sisters.
Zaqwan is the eldest boy. Now at 11, his stomach has grew unproportionally than the rest of his body. unlike Fatima, he really can eat even after constant comments from his grandma. He is not my biological son. He is the son of my wife's deceased younger sister. Fortunately for me, his biological father doesnt want anyhting to do with him so he has been my son right after his mother not able to take care of him. He is the most obedient of all, at least to me, practically jumping to do his chores when asked without complains and grunt.
Next the twins boy, Ahmad Fikry aged 9 is 10 kg heavier than his twin brother, Ahmad Zikry. They are twins but their personalities are not alike. Fikry likes to do his school work whereas Zikry has to be insisted upon to do his. Also need to insist upon Zikry to eat whereas Fikry feels very difficult to stop eating. People said that twins never fight but mine fight most of the time. They also kiss and hug each other, they make my day.
My Lovely wife, Rozita is not a perfect woman but she likes to think so, therefore, being a sensible husband, I encourage her (most of the time). She is pretty and looks much younger than her age and doesnt look like a mother of six. She always get praise from others, she likes it. She is a bit (a very little bit) on the plump side, nonetheless, I love her more than ever. She is the Finance and Domestic Minister of the family. She is also the one who decides what fun things we are going to have during weekends. If others dont agree then she will come to me. As you have already guessed, I am the Enforcer.
The last lady in the list is my mother-in-law. I think I know and treat her better than her own daughter. She already aged more than 60, still strong though. She is the cook for the family since she really likes to cook and no one else can cook as tasty as her. Most of her time she spend at the kitchen. Once I really pity her, so we arrange to get additional maid to help her cook. She really get mad and we have to quickly get rid of the maid or she will get out from the house. Man, I love her, not as much I love my own mother, but very close though.
Man, I have just got through the introduction! What have I got myself into! Only this far, already taken me more than a week of my spare time. I know what to do, lets make this part one and if enough encouragement, I will continue with the more interesting part two.
Lets also play a game while waiting for part two. The photo above less my mother-in-law. Guess who's who, the answer in part two. I promise this wont be a trilogy like most movies.
