How to Help Rescued Animals Every Day - For FREE!
65If you want to help the millions of homeless, hungry animals in the world, The Animal Rescue Site provides an easy, free way for you to do so, all from the comfort of your computer chair!
Simply visit their site, and click on the big pink button at the top of the page that says "Click Here to Give - it's Free!"
Clicking on that button will take you to a page full of ads. Sponsors pay to place their ads on that page, and 100% of the money they pay goes to feed rescued animals in shelters around the country.
You don't need to click on any of the ads, or spend any money. Just viewing their ads is enough to fund two-thirds of a bowl of food. You can only click once per day though, so it's important to remember to click every day.
Easy Ways to Remember to Click Every Day
Use Your Outlook Tasks
You can set up a recurring task in Outlook, so that it will not only remind you to click for the animals every day, but give you the link to click. This will take mere seconds of your time every day, and is easy to set up.
To set up a recurring task in Outlook:
- Click File > New > Task
- In the Subject line, type "Click for the Animals"
- In the body of the task, paste this url: http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com
- Be sure to hit the Enter key after you paste it in, to force Outlook to convert it to a hyperlink.
- Click the "Recurrence" button at the top of the task window.
- Under Recurrence Pattern, choose Daily.
- Choose Regenerate new task 1 day after each task is completed
- Leave the Range of recurrence settings as they are and click OK.
- Check the box for a reminder and choose a convenient time to be reminded of this task. Note: You can manually type in a specific time if you want...you are not restricted to the list of times shown.
- Click Save and Close
- You will see one instance of this task in your task list, with a little alarm bell icon on it, to show that that it has a reminder.
- When the reminder pops up, click the "Open Item" button. This opens the task.
- Click the link you put in the body of the task, and when your default browser launches, click on the "Click to Give" button on the Animal Rescue Site.
- Once the sponsors ads have loaded, you can close the browser and return to the task window. Click the "Mark Complete" button. It will disappear, and the reminder will go away too, but it will still be showing in your task list...as a task for the next day.

More Ways to Help
The Animal Rescue Site is a great place to shop for gifts as well...and those purchases also help feed rescued animals. They also have links and ads you can place on your website, blog, Facebook and MySpace, to help spread the word.
I am not affiliated with the Animal Rescue Site in any way -- other than clicking daily -- or any of their partners, sponsors or subsidiaries. I'm just an animal lover. I've spend thousands of dollars on rescuing animals myself (my husband says would be cheaper if I had a drug habit!) and the Animal Rescue Site is an easy way to help other rescued animals at no cost to ourselves.
I chose not to display ads on this hub because I didn't post it to make money. I posted it to help rescued animals. Please join me in clicking daily and please spread the word! Thank you.
