In All the Things That You Are Confronted With Use Moderation

 To live stress free is everyone's dream.  However, very few people are able to live in their own stress free world because of the world's impact and influence on everyone's everyday live.  However, if you choose to do everything that you are confronted with as an opportunity to use coolness and moderation, you will be closer to your dream of a stressless life.

There are two things that causes stress in people's lives and that is their jobs and their marriages.  Because of your inability to control others and just tell them to cool it, you are apt to be in a situation that is stressful.  Even in your own little easy chair that is always there waiting for you after a long, hard, stressful day at work, there is a window of stress that can get into your comfort zone and that is the television.  Everyday there is news about the high unemployment rate and the increase in the number of divorces.

What are you to do to get a window of ease into the stressful place you have to deal with at work and maybe in your marriage.  The most important thing you can do for yourself is to stay healthy in this stressful world.  One way to do that is to find time in your day for physical activity.  Sure, you can't just make the bad things to just go away that gets on your nerves but you can learn how to deal with these seemingly daily occurrences of stress.

Find an activity that you do daily.  If you pick up the mail everyday, you may want to have that time as a beginning routine to continue walking around the neighborhood block after you have placed the mail inside of your home.  If you are having to drop your kids off to school and then have time to get to your job, allow time to walk around the school track.  Sure the students may wonder why you are walking around the school property.  But when that unexpected bill hits you, your body will be more relaxed and you will experience less stress because you would have already walked it off. 

Also, there is nothing more relaxing than a soothing bath after a long day at work or following and walking away from an arguement with your spouse over another unpaid bill that you somehow thought you had paid.  Invest is body oils, body wash and other aromatic distractions that will get you relaxed after these stressful altercations.  The altercations are going to be there, you just need to know what you can do to combat the resultant stress.

You can  not change the world except the part that you occupy and that is you.  Physical exercise and doing something nice or yourself like a soothing bath or a visit to the masseuse, will go along way to you living a stressless life.  Your attitude of moderation also keep the coolness coming and you will know not to go to the nine when you are in control of your reaction to stressful stimuli.  Your body and they way you treat yourself will help you to maintain the moderation needed when the situations are more than you anticipated.  In all the things that you are confronted with use moderation.  The way you behave and react to a stressful situation is your choice and the best choice you can make is to stay cool.

Great topic Linda, I have been blessed with a ducks back if you will. Things bother me but I let it out rather quickly. I usually go to the gym to relieve stress. Thanks for writing this.

wesleycox, thank you for your comment. It is geat that you can let stress go that easily and your workouts help too. As a rule, I would advise people on stressful jobs to try to leave the problems at the office and to not take it home with them. Having a regular workout regiment helps as written in your response.
