Here are some practical tips on how to lose baby weight, as far as my research goes:

1) Proper exercise and cardio training programs make you lose belly fat and it should be done exercising the whole body, not just the trouble areas since it is not possible to do that. This would include walking, jogging and running. Interactive classes that make you burn fat are good for the mind and body as well.

2) You lose baby weight when you continue breastfeeding. While breastfeeding has not been proven by experts yet, it is known to burn 500 calories a day while providing quiet bonding time for the mother and child. Also, breastfeeding is a great contraceptive for up to 6 months after delivery, if definite conditions are met.

 

3) Water is noted as natural appetite suppressant thus making it a good alternative for losing pregnancy weight. Water contains no calories and hydrates the body. Moreover, water has no harmful substance to affect your child’s health during and after gestation period, if breastfeeding. Besides, the body needs water just as it requires food.

4) Avoid emotional eating as much as possible. This is essential in losing weight after baby. Motherhood is a whirlwind of emotions and it has scientific basis on it. Being emotional while pregnant is primarily due to hormonal issues that occur during this stage. If you are having trouble controlling your mental state, seek help immediately
