Find out how to lose all your body fat

There are many people who are looking to lose body fat. Are you one of those people? If you want to lose 15 or even 100 pounds, there are things that you can do that will help you lose body fat. It is difficult to lose fat and keep it off by accident. You have to plan things out and be intentional about losing weight. There are two major things that you have to plan. To lose body fat, like belly fat or arm fat, you must plan what you eat and plan to exercise.

Plan your meals

The types of food that you eat, as well as the amount of food that you eat, is a crucial part of losing body fat. Your diet plan should include foods that are lower in fat, lower in carbohydrates, and high in protein and fiber. This is key in losing abdominal fat, especially.

Fat should comprise approximately 20%-30% of your diet. When you plan your meals, make sure that the foods you eat have a fat calorie content that is less than 50% of the total fat content. For example, a candy bar might have 120 calories, with 90 calories of fat. That percentage is too high. A granola bar might have 150 calories, but only 45 calories of fat. That is fine. The type of fat is also important. Most labels will show the amount of saturated fat and trans fat contained in the food. If you want to lose body fat, you should make sure that there is no trans fat, and very little saturated fat.

Carbohydrates are an important part of your diet. The type of carbohydrates that you eat are important when you are trying to lose body fat. Sugar, if you eat too much of it, will add to your body fat. Limit your intake of cookies, cakes, and candy. Monitor your sugar intake, and try to choose food items that are lower in sugar. You can also switch to whole grain rice, pasta and bread.

It is important to eat protein rich foods to help you build muscle and stay energized. Protein will also help reduce your hunger. Low fat or skim milk, chicken, turkey, beans and peanuts are all lean and healthy sources of protein. Your diet should be about 20%-30% protein.

Fiber will also help you to lose body fat. The fiber in your diet will absorb extra body water and bind with saturated fats. This helps foods to pass through you system more rapidly, increasing your metabolism, and limits the amount of body fat you store.

Plan physical activity

Exercise has to be planned, especially if you have a busy lifestyle with work and family to take care of. It will take an honest effort to get enough physical activity to lose body fat. You can plan exercise to start the day with, or get physical activity throughout the day. Do whatever works for your schedule.

Exercising first thing in the morning will help you to burn more calories throughout the day. It can energize you and put you in a good mood to start the day. That is because when you exercise, your body releases an anti-depressant hormone. It can help you to feel less stressed during the day as well, and that can also help you to lose body fat. You body tends to store more fat when you are stressed, so reducing it any way you can is a good idea. If you think exercising first thing in the morning will work for you, go for it!

If you aren't a morning person, that is fine. You can plan to be more physically active on purpose. You can plan an afternoon, or after work exercise routine. Stop by the gym, or take a jog. Do some extra cleaning around the house, use the stairs more, or take a walk instead of a drive. These activities can particularly help burn upper and lower leg fat. Exercise while your watching television, instead of snacking. Try not to sit still for more than 30 minutes at a time. The more you move, the more calories you will burn.

You can also plan to do things that require you to move around. Go window-shopping at a large mall, go out dancing, play sports with friends, or paddle a boat on a lake. There are tons of things to do that can get your body moving and burning calories. These activities combined with a more focused exercise routine will definitely help you to lose body fat, particularly waist fat.

The final part of planning to lose body fat is following through with your plans. You might need to test out a few diet and exercise plans before you find something that works for you, but don't give up. If you try to follow your plan but give in, it's okay. Just try again. Make a realistic plan and make small changes, one thing at a time. Gradually, you will develop a healthier lifestyle and lose body fat.

Hey Nicole,

You should really start by doing lots of exercise and eating right. Stay away from processed food. Make sure you eat small meals more often rather than large meals less often. Make sure you have a balanced diet and get plenty of rest. Remember, I'm not an expert on health or fitness. I just give advice for what has worked for me. I followed the fat loss for idiots program I talk about here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Fat-Loss-For-Idiots-an-Hon

You may want to show it to your Mum or Dad to see if they'll let you get it.

Hope this helps,

Wendy
