How you can lose that fat calf
Do you want to lose calf fat? Working your calf muscles is simple and easy, and you can certainly burn the fat. There are several exercises that you can do, including skating and running that will increase your metabolism and help you to burn leg fat, particularly calf fat. Here are some exercises that you can do.
The most common exercise is the calf raise. There are a few different ways to do a calf raise. First, you can do it using your own body weight as resistance. Stand with your whole body straight and your feet slightly apart. Place your hands on your hips and slowly stand on the balls of your feet. Hold the position for a few seconds and slowly lower yourself back down. To intensify the exercise, you can hold your balance, and stand on one foot. Then you can raise yourself up to the ball of one foot and slowly lower yourself down. This is the easiest way to burn calf fat, because you do no need weights or a machine.
If you have access to a gym, you might be able to find a machine for your calves. It will have a block for you to stand on, and weight shoulder pads that will add resistance to the workout. Using the calf machine is great because you will be able to give your calf muscles a wider range of motion. You will perform the same action as the regular calf raise I just described, but your heels will hang over the block. This will allow you to start working your calves from a lower position. Use the machine for this exercise and you will burn calf fat in no time.
You can also use a machine for the seated calve raise. Again, there will be a block for you to put your feet on and your heels will hang over the edge. The resistance will come from the weighted pad that will rest on our thigh, near your knees, as you sit down to do this exercise. While you are at the gym, take advantage of the opportunity to work on other areas of body fat, such as arm fat or back fat. Make sure that you use the machines correctly and don't put more weight on them than you can handle.
If you aren't interested in going to the gym, try skating. If you can roller-skate or ice-skate, that is wonderful. Skating can really burn calories and help you lose calf fat. It will strengthen your calves, and help you lose ankle fat as well. Skating is not only great for your calves, but it is also very good for your heart. You can really get your heart rate accelerating if you skate quickly.
If you do not really like the idea of skating, try running. You can take a run through the neighborhood, or you can run at the park. When there is a rainy day, you could try to use a treadmill to run and burn your calf fat. Running is a fantastic cardiovascular workout that will increase your metabolism and strengthen your heart.
Doing any of these exercises on a regular basis will help you to lose your extra calf fat. You will have toned and sexy calves to show off to the world. Make sure you stretch your calves after each exercise so that you don't cramp your muscles. Start a calf fat burning work out routine today, and you will lose your calf fat in no time. Don't give up, you can do it!
