Most of us have weight problems and usually need to lose some of those unwanted pounds in a short period of time for a particular event. There are many fad diets available online that will allow you to lose anywhere from 7 to 10 pounds in as little as one week.

You just have to be aware that these types of diets are not long term weight loss. But they will certainly help with the weight you need to lose for that special event.




The Cabbage Soup Diet - Lose Pounds in One Week

Jane's 15 year high school reunion was right around the corner and she wanted to be able to look good for when she attended. She had been putting off dieting for because she led a very busy life: Full time work, Busy Mother, and was never able to go exercise.

So, she did some research online and came across the "cabbage soup diet" This diet has been very popular because you just eat as much of this special soup for just seven days.

Each day, you are able to eat an additional food along with the soup. For example, on one day, you are able to eat as many veggies as you want plus be able to eat one large baked potatoe with butter. On another day, you can eat as many as eight bananas and eight 4 ounce glasses of milk(low fat or skim).

This cabbage soup diet is a very good way for you to lose a lot of pounds in one week, but you should not use it for more than just a week. This is because it doesn't give you all of the nutrition your body needs. By using this diet, you are consuming approximately only 800 calories per day.


Losing Inches with an Affordable Body Wrap

Another thing you can do while on any of the above diet programs is to do a body wrap session. There are many kinds of body wraps: those that you go to a spa and use and those that are made for home use.

Following is a link for some inch loss body wraps that help you lose targeted inches in either your abdomen, chin, or thighs. They are very affordable and help to detoxify your fat cells so that you may lose many inches. Using this in conjunction with some of the quick weight loss diets found here will definitely help you fit into that dress, jeans, or nightie!

 


The Grapefruit Diet

The Grapefruit diet has you eating about half a grapefruit or eight ounces of grapefruit juice with every meal. The foods you eat in conjunction with the grapefruit usually have very limited carbs. For example, a breakfast of 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon plus the grapefruit. Lunch, a green salad with meat and an olive oil type dressing. An example dinner could be fish or meat and red and/or green leafy vegetables. Oh, and obviously, the grapefruit at lunch and dinner too.  On this grapefruit diet, most people eat about 1000 calories per day. I'm not entirely sure if the grapefruit has any significant value on weight loss, but this being a low calorie and low carb diet, the pounds will come off fast.

Interesting hub! I especially like the cabbage soup diet. It works. I've tried it. But it 's a little hard to stay on.
