How to Lose Weight – Healthy Weight Loss Program
- There is no shortcut to success. There are no shortcuts to losing weight in a healthy and reasonable way.” There is nothing called “Fast Weight Loss”.
- Slow and steady wins the race.
- Patience is a virtue
– Remember the above three points before reading any further.
No Crash diet or dieting or exercise is going to help you lose weight the healthy way. Of course, you may lose some weight through crash diet and hard exercises but you may fall sick and no longer remain healthy.
Be slow. Have patience.If you are really serious about losing weigh the healthy way, following are some tips and advice for you (For both MEN and WOMEN):

1. Weight yourself and note it down.
2. Balance the calorie intake and activity to burn calories: Excess calorie is stored as FAT in your body thus resulting in weigh gain. We need to maintain a balance in the calories that we take in as food and burning calorie through out everyday activities. In order to maintain a balance between these two you need to:
- Reduce the amount of calories you eat. This doesn’t means that you have to go through any crash diet program. Just eat enough BALANCED diet to feel good and healthy. Avoid fatty and fast food. Try to take more of such food that contains more of protein and less of carbohydrate. We all have read of such food in school. Didn’t we? Avoid fizzy and cold drinks. Avoid beer and other alcoholic drinks. Take light dinner. Heavy dinner is the one that add most to the fat because there is no activity during night (Unless you are married!)
- Increase your level of activity to burn any excess calorie. “Activity” may include exercise and household work or even playing that will help burn fat. Join a GYM and take your daily routine from the expert in the gym. Activities such as cycling and swimming can be fun and can help you lose weight. Even morning and evening walk is good. Playing Badminton and going to aerobics class can help too. Other activities may include – walking the stairs instead of using the lift, NOT using the TV Remote etc.
3. Be patient: As I mentioned in the beginning – “Slow and steady wins the race” and “Patience is a virtue”, your patience will pay. Weigh yourself every week as you continue your program to lose weight. Don’t lose heart. Just follow the 2 Tips mentioned above. It might take a couple of weeks before you notice any changes, but they will steadily appear. After the first month you are sure to see the benefits. After six month you will find a NEW person in yourself. Yes, Guaranteed.
