92Making money with Google Adsense program is every hubber's (blogger's) dream. Making plenty of money every month from Google Adsense? Not a wild dream, actually. If you follow my tips, you could well make over $100 a day from Adsense and receive a $3000 cheque every month. See, you are already looking at me with loads and loads of suspicion. You gotta believe in you, you gotta believe in your ability to make money before you actually make money.
Ready to lend your ears? What I am going to tell are the tips that worked for me and it could work for anyone. Yea, I am NOT doing any magic to make money.

Tips for Making $100 a day with HubPages
Evry hubber's dream is to earn more with adsense earnings. But, most of the adsense optimisation strategies will not work for HubPages as you can not customize your adsense ads. I must tell you that, hubpages with the help of a technology called YieldBuild gets the best adsense ads and best price for every click. So, you need not do any optimisation. But, there are some tips that I learnt in the last few months with HubPages which I outline below.
The following tips are applicable to hubpages and these are based on my own experiences. I do not guarantee you will earn $100 a day from tomorrow, but if you constantly work hard and one fine day, you will earn more than $100 a day.
- Write a big first paragraph: Every time you write a hub, include a minimum of 150 word paragraph as the first module. This will allow you HubPages to insert a medium rectangle (336 by 250) adsense ads beside that paragraph. By having this, your visitors have a good chance of seeing the ads (without the need to scroll down) and maximum number of ads beside your main content. - Do not inert any images beside the first paragraph: If you want to include an image, insert just below the first paragraph. HubPages will show you the first image that you have in your hub in the Thumbnails (in the front page). Do not include any module (Links / RSS / News) beside the first paragraph.
- Go back and review your hubs: If you do not have a first paragraph with images, or do not have a big first paragraph, then revise them all. Include a good lengthy first paragraph in all your published hubs.
- Some topics earn more than others: The good topics with adsense are finance, home tips, beauty and fitness tips, product reviews and How-To articles. So, write hubs related to these topics.
- Photo galleries do not earn much: I have to make a confession here. Photo galleries do not earn much from adsense. They bring more traffic to my hubs and photo galleries do not attract clicks.
- Text-rich hubs attract clicks: Write more text-rich hubs to get more quality adsense ads. Because, when you have only images or photo galleries, the adsense engine confuse what sort of content that is and include junk ads which earn only few micro cents per click. So, write good article sprinkled with the certain keywords across the hub to tell the adsense engine what your hub is related to.
- Choose your title wisely: Before you lock up the title of your hub, think for a while. Is the title descriptive enough to attract visitors? Because, even though search engines rank your site based on the keyword, after all, only humans read them. So, having a catchy title helps to attract visitors from the search engine results page. Once you decide the title, search that in a popular search engine and see if you need to modify the keywords.
- Separate your long hub into different modules: Break your long hub into different text modules. The rough guide is each text module should have a maximum of 250 words. In this way, you are giving more opportunity to insert Google Ads in the middle.
- Monitor your adsense earnings: Do not believe in all I say. Set up separate channels (you can track upto 180 different hubs based on their URLs) to monitor which type of hubs earn more money for you. Write those kind of hubs more often.
- Publicize your HubPage links and RSS to directories: Go and search for the directories that list websites or RSS. Add your hubpages profile page and RSS link to those directories. - Search engine traffic matters: The people those come from the search engines are most likely to click on your ads. Because, they are the ones looking for some information or product. You need not do anything to attract search engine traffic. HubPages optimize your hubpages automatically to get more search engine traffic.
- Tags are everything: Add at least 15 tags to your hubs. These are the keywords that describe your hub's content. Add only relevant and good quality keywords.

How do you make $100 a day with Adsense?
To make $100 a day, you need on an average 1000 clicks (Yes, one thousand clicks on the adsense ads a day). This number of clicks is a rough figure, on some days, you would earn more and on some days, you may earn less.
Google will smart price your hubs based on the impressions vs. clicks ratio. So, this variation is unavoidable. If there are 100 impressions and only 5 clicks from a hub, Google will slap the hub with low-rate adsense ads, so, you will get only few cents per click from the hub. The quality of hub or the quality of content doesn't matter much for Google's adsense engine. But, only the number of clicks matter.
So, you need to publish more hubs and expect more clicks thats all you can do. HubPages takes care of bringing in more traffic and gets best ads for you.
A final word: Do not get dejected if you do not earn much from adsense earnings now. First aim to make $100 a month, it will take a while. Then, aim for $500 a month. Work hard and publish more - that's the key. When you make it to Hall of Fame (400 hubs), you will earn quite good with Adsense by then.

Normally hubs with this sort of title are just links to affiliate programs published by people who haven't made a dollar using the stuff they are flogging.

One additional tip I'd recommend is to do some research on your keywords.
There are loads of paid keyword analysis programs out there, some good, and some of dubious value. I'll certainly write a hub about these soon.
The whole idea of keyword analysis is to find the right keywords to use. Ones that will attract traffic from google.
The idea keyword phrase is one that has many searches, but few competing websites.

As a journalist, I was trained to write short, pithy paragraphs, particularly lead paragraphs, and so now I'm having to go through and re-write all my first paragraphs to expand outward to 150 words! And of course, I was putting nifty pictures right next to those lead paragraphs because that's what an old newspaper guy would do. Like I said....I've got a lot of work to do!

The best tip you got there I think is about writing that long first paragraph. That big rectangle ad is far and away google's highest earner. If you wanna actually earn money, that is the way to go.

Great tips, the only one I am not sure about is floating a pic to the right of your paragraph, I checked the link you provided and it is not showing a rectanlge ad. It is showing a banner ad. Hubpages circulates different ads at any given time. On one occasion it could show a rectangular ad or a banner ad. One of my articles has a pic on the right and it is showing 1 banner add above and below the text and they perform really well, most all my articles have an image that floats to the right. I do agree however that text capsules with at least a minimum lenght does improve your chances of showing better ad placements, at least much of the time. By the way, good tip about RSS, because I noticed this is the HubPages weak point. They have plenty of RSS stuff on the searches/tag pages, but your new hub can take days and weeks before getting indexed.
New hubbers do not see the problem, because they are displayed in the very fresh people list and get a backlink to their hub quite quickly. Top hubbers do not have this problem as well.
But those who are in the middle - suffer.

these are good tips, but I've implemented the longer first paragraph withouan image, and sometime the ads still go to the bottom under the comment section. I've also seen that some hubs of mine with a really ong 2nd text capsule, the 336 by 250 adsense box will go there if tfirst capsule is not long enough, but that's not all the time. Sometimes I'll leave plenty of room in either place, and the ad will still go to the bottom.
I am still wondering whether this is possible.. my earning level is at present less than a dollar a day.. But how to 100 $..

Is there any effect on how well search engines see our hubs if we edit them each once a day? Can the edit be just some simple thing?
I like to put the main key words in my title - the main ones twice and then after I publish the frist time - go back and change the title to something catchy for human use. Do you do this and do you think it works?

Are you talking about "Tags" or "editing your hubs to include more keywords"? Both are productive for bringing more traffic and get ranked in search engines. You can not modify the URL of a hub or should not, because you will then lose your original ranks.

No, search engines will index once in a while. You may not exactly predict the update frequency, but say within 4 or 5 days, hopefully, your changes will get reflected.

You can edit and the changes will affect your search engine rankigns on the next indexing update. It couldbe positive or negative depending on your changes.

You can the title after publishing. I have done one or two times. Do it if you really have a better title or unique title for which there is less competition in search results. Use your new title as the keyword and search. See how the results are.

Great, I learned the other day, the highest pay adsense is over $48 PPC. Wow, a great hub with traffic, and getting a few of these clicks a day. WOW! Beats the $0.50 I am getting now.
The other thing, I have been told, is hubs are like insurance policy, they stay around a long while, and keep earning for a long a long time with littel maintenance, if you do them right.

It took me long to come down to this comment box; it has got a huge list of comment as your hub is worth it. You have summarized so much in it along with links that now I do not need to search more. I am a new hubber with not enough knowledge of how it works, but I know a lot.
It makes sense that picture gallerys won't make much money. People are always looking for advise so the "How to's" will be thw winner by far!
I think that Hubpages should rank better and faster than a new published blog, and the Hubpages team optimized the site for maximum profit.

This making money with adsense is a hassel I wish there was a course that can show you the way, from point a to z. The courses out there show you some stuff but still leaves you in the dark!

Wow , What a great article. Tells me a lot more than i had known about how to structure my hubpage to get better adsense. i'm gonna keep these tips near my computer and check that first paragraph before I publish from now on.
Thank you for this. I know part of my problem is not working hard enough to earn with adsense and its been a long time since I posted a hub! My adsense earnings mostly come from my blogs, but it will be nice when I even reach a $50.00 a day mark.
