It's everyone dream.  Sit at home in your boxer shorts, sell a few item on eBay relax for the rest of the day with your family.

What a lot of people do not realize is that they do not need to have direct links with ipod or dell to be able to sell items on ebay.  All you really have to do is to be able to find a product or service in high demand and be able to market the product better than the other sellers on ebay.

Or maybe you need to find a way to be able to sell the same product but at a higher price?

In this post I am going to explain how I went about making over £10,000 pounds every month on ebay without ever having to touch the products myself.

A few years ago I used to sell over 100 dvd's every single day on eBay.

If you calculate that I was selling each dvd at an average of £10 that was £1,000 that I was making every single day. Now that was gross profit, and I still had to be able to pay my suppliers.

How did I do it?

very simple, I used my brain.

If you go to ebay.com you will see that everything is in dollars, in the UK everything is in GBP or pounds. About 2-3 years ago the pound was very strong and comparitivly the dollar was weak. So for every £1 I could get $2.

So if a dvd costs $5 and sells for £10, that is an automatic profit of £7.50. The only other costs I incurred were paypal and ebay fee's.

My reasoning was very simple, when a dvd is made it is usually set to a region, so dvd's in America are region 1, and DVD's in England are region 2. Most time's dvd players in each region will only play the dvd for that country. So a dvd player in the UK would only play a dvd with the region code 2.

But with technology getting better every day most dvd players could be unlocked and even now most dvd players being sold are region free!

This is called a grey import and is not illegal, it is just you making money off of not only the currency exchange. But also the cost of living.

Think about the same with cigarettes. In the Uk they sell for £5.00 in the US they sell for $5.00. I am not giving this as an example of a product you should import (because you can't). But just wanted to show you how the cost of living being cheaper in America can actually make it worthwhile for you to import something from there and sell it here!
