When we want to search sth on the internet, what we are likely to start with?

Google.com or search.yahoo.com

Why? They are easy & convenient to use. They took up to 90% share of the internet search market. Google is #1, Yahoo is #2. They are both great.

We enter some keywords and click search to get preferred results. Most of the time, millions of results. We are then gonna click on the URL addresses from the very beginning, one by one. If not enough, we are likely to click Next Page to see more info. That's what we usually do. But, Do You Have Any Idea How Google Arrange the Order of the URL addresses?

• How Google or Yahoo Organize the Order?

I saw many guys selling their ebooks claiming they could let you rank #1 in the Google's searching results in few days, blah, blah... ...I am telling you the truth. Most of them are scams. Google will check how many backlink that links to your page from a weighed website in order to give your page an initial score.

Then, Google will check your page's originality of content, and whether it could give the viewer a good surfing experience. If the content is original, properly organized,nicely formatted and gained good traffic, Google will give it a priority to the search result. Of course, this is just done by machines not human. While, since Google is working so hard to fomularize better criteria to score a webpage. And it's changing all the time. We can believe it's getting more and more humane and intelligent. So, never try to cheat or fool Google, or you're gonna regret.
